Our Story at The Muttart

Please join us at our favourite botanical escape in Edmonton to celebrate our union under the beautiful glass pyramids of the Muttart Conservatory.

We fell in love with the elegant design and lush foliage of the Muttart during our first winter together - our oasis of warmth and life! The succulent we picked out at the Muttart five years ago has grown deep roots, just like our bond with each other.

It is our hope that you will experience what we felt when you explore its wonders and share in our special day.

Ceremony

6:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Our wedding begins with a short service to sanctify our marriage. And sign the paperwork!

We ask that you please remain seated for the duration of the ceremony, and wait to take pictures until after the ceremony has ended.

Cocktail/Semi-formal

Reception

7:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail (half-)hour. Charcuterie will be served, and the bar will open.

Dinner (and Cake!)

7:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Dinner will be served family-style. Following dinner, we will have an assortment of desserts and will serve the wedding cakes.

During the meal, some of our closest friends and family will tell embarrassing stories about us. And hopefully some nice things too!

Dance

9:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Following some wedding games, we invite you to join us on the dance floor and show off your moves - after our first dance, of course! :)

If you need a break from your whirling feats of balletretic prowess, we suggest signing our guestbook at the back of the room. Or exploring the wonderous four botanical pyramids of the Muttart. And don't forgot to check out the...

Pop-up Portrait Studio

9:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Visit the feature pyramid to get your photo taken by our wedding photographer in a pop-up studio, using the beauty of the pyramid as the backdrop. You'll receive a printed copy of your photo on the spot, as well as access to the digital gallery after the wedding.

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the Muttart.

For those who are able, we also encourage public transportation. Your wedding garb doesn't need to be confined to just our event!

What should I wear?

Cocktail or semi-formal attire.

What time should I arrive?

The doors open at 6:30pm and the ceremony will commence shortly after everyone is seated.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We encourage you to put away your digital devices and be in the moment for the evening! However, if you feel the need to take photos, you can do so after the service. But please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Can I visit the Muttart pyramids during the reception?

Yes! Following the ceremony, the four pyramids will be open exclusively to you and the other guests. We hope you will explore and enjoy each of them during the night!

The most opportune times to visit the pyramids will be
- immediately following the ceremony, during the cocktail half-hour
- and to take a (brief) break from dancing.

We ask that you remain seated during the ceremony.

Are food and drink allowed in the Muttart pyramids?

Food and beverages are not permitted in the pyramids.

What time will the reception end?

You can party until midnight!

Where is smoking allowed on the premises?

Neither smoking nor vaping is allowed in the building or patio. However, there is a permitted smoking area outside of the gates to the right, near 96a street.

Can I leave my vehicle overnight in the parking lot?

We want everyone to get home safe and sound after our party. Please register your license plate with one of the Muttart hosts on site if you do not feel comfortable driving after the party and wish to return home via another mode of transportation.

You can pick up your vehicle in the parking lot on Saturday, September 30th.

Do you have a gift registry?

We do not have a gift registry, but we will have a card box at the venue.

I have a question not answered here; how do I contact you?

Please contact us with any additional questions at wedding@osgoodmah.com :)
