Registry
We love that you are joining us. At this stage in our lives, we really have all the household things we need. Your presence is gift enough for us. However, if you feel the need we would rather you donate to your favorite charity. If you prefer, here is one of ours.
Timothy's House is an organization that educates, feeds and houses orphaned children in Kenya. Rex and Karen Dawson (Rex is our officiant and Karen and Rex are our aunt and uncle) have been involved with the organization. We've heard wonderful stories and our family has sponsored a couple of children. Donations go directly to the kids well being. It's one of our favorites, as are Karen and Rex.
Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by June 15, 2025, so we can have an accurate headcount. :) If you have trouble getting the RSVP through the website, feel free to email me at Jmiller833@hotmail.com or text me the details at 253-509-3587.
Can I bring a date?
Absolutely! Please let us know their name for the table seating if they are not included on the invitation.
Are kids welcome?
Yes.
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Washington, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Seattle should be beautiful, averaging 75-80 degrees, but will get chilly at night. Please bring some warm layers for the evening, we don't want anyone freezing their bu...well you get the point. ;)
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the arboretum.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, although it's gravelly, it's a little slow going.
What should I wear?
The dress code is cocktail attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be under a tent :)
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Consider this: the ceremony is in the grass with a sidewalk aisle, and the walkways between the ceremony and reception area are gravel. Now that you know this, wear any shoes you like!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Whom should I call with questions?
