Story
We first met in the courtyard of Emory's School of Nursing, where we wrongly assigned stereotypes to each other based solely on good looks (probably). We soon formed a friendship, bonding over impeccable music taste, a love of outdoor adventure, and a lot of time spent in the Emory library. A few months later, after finally listening to some solid advice from mothers and friends, we went from "just friends" to best friends - we started dating. We graduated nursing school, started our careers just in time for COVID, and continued to enjoy frequent trips into the woods together. Just before our 2 year anniversary, Warren planned an adventure to beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park. Jordan despises the cold and suffers from horrible motion sickness, but Warren had to be sure to see her at rock bottom before committing to forever. We were traveling down the historic Seward Highway, enjoying stunning mountain views and taking frequent fresh-air stops, when Warren pulled a 3-month late Valentine's card, and later a perfect ring, out of his nicest sweatpants. It was there, at a roadside viewpoint with a bald eagle flying overhead, that we decided to officially be best friends forever.
Tidbits
What's your favorite activity together?
Hiking, city exploration, any form of "walking" really. We also enjoy bobbing our heads in a sea of beanies while seeing live music.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
After nursing school, we drove cross-country hitting several National Parks and visiting lots of faraway family and friends. Most memorably, we "camped" (in our car) in Yellowstone in -9F temps and then drove through a blizzard in the Badlands.
A life goal of ours
To possibly own a house... and maybe even retire eventually.
We are regulars at
Kroger, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and work. Keep it spicy, fam.

Travel
Travel
Tucked in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Crozet is located about 12 miles west of Charlottesville, VA. While there is an airport in Charlottesville, we typically find better options flying into Richmond International Airport (1.5 hrs away) or Washington Dulles International Airport (2 hrs away). For those flying into Washington, D.C., there is an Amtrak train with daily fares from D.C. to Charlottesville.
Fall is the busy season in the Charlottesville/Crozet area for leaf-peepers and UVA students/football fans. We advise booking accommodations early to avoid competing with the crowds!
Please feel free to utilize the booking assistant below to search for available accommodations. Our hotel block filled up impressively early, but we have had great luck on AirBNB!

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. We hope you are able to take advantage of a parents' night out and party like it's 2012. Please reach out if you have questions!
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Virginia, non-locals! We have four seasons here, and the weather is not something we feel qualified to predict. According to Google, average November hi/lo temps are 58/34F. Our ceremony will be outdoors, rain permitting, so be sure to wear a jacket!
Where should I park?
For those staying in Charlottesville, shuttles will be providing round-trip transportation from the Fairfield Inn and Suites downtown. If you are not planning to ride the shuttle from downtown Charlottesville, there is ample parking at the venue. Overnight parking is permitted by the venue, if needed.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire is recommended. We want to see you all looking fine as hell, just not finer than us.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and videos to share. We will not, however, tolerate any Tik-Toks, influencing, or snapchat filters.
