Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

Do I need a COVID vaccination?

Previously, Puerto Rico had strict travel requirements. When we visited PR in the fall of 2021, we were required to upload a copy of our vaccination card and complete a travel declaration form online prior to arrival. Once approved, we were provided a QR code that we downloaded to our phones, which we presented to get through customs. As the pandemic continues to evolve, so do the requirements. As of March 2022, many of the requirements were lifted, but please familiarize yourself with these before you book your airline tickets or depart on your trip.

During our vacation in November 2021 and March 2022, we noticed that many restaurants, hotels, and other places of business were only accepting proof of vaccination for entry into their establishment. We didn't need the hardcopy -- just a photo of our vaccination cards was sufficient. Masks were common indoor and even outside in pedestrian-dense areas.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 1st! If you'd like to book the resort (La Concha) at the group rate, please do so by February 28th.

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids and want to be as helpful as possible. Please, let us know your plans and we will help with coordinating and crowdsourcing childcare for the weekend events.

Our wedding planner recommends this service for childcare. Nanny on Call Puerto Rico- (787)728-9999

What will the weather be like?

Tropical!

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire! We want ladies in fun, tropical dresses (or anything beautiful and comfortable for a beach wedding). We want the fellas in beach-comfortable suits (linen, cotton, and seersucker for the bold). No ties necessary!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors on the beach, so plan accordingly. You might want to forgo shoes during the beach ceremony. The cocktail hour is outdoors on a terrace, but our reception will be inside. Usually in the evenings, the weather is 85 degrees with a good ocean breeze.

Will there be dancing?

You must dance, or security will escort you off the premises.

Who uses all the exclamation points?

Definitely not Josh!
