We have made a booking at Mister D for 6.30pm and it's a $75 set menu for anyone that is interested in joining us. Please let us know if you would like to join. Everyone is welcome and the food is supposed to be spectacular.

We have arranged 4 stops for the bus based on the responses we received.
Stop 1 at 3pm- Russell St South, Hastings
Stop 2 at 3.15pm- Havelock North i-SITE Visitor Information Centre, 1 Te Aute Rd, Havelock North
Stop 3 at 3.25pm- Four Square Te Mata, 171 Te Mata Rd, Havelock North
Stop 4 at 3.35pm- Origin Earth Ltd, 393 Te Mata Rd, Parkvale, Havelock North
Arrive at Craggy Range 3.40pm

The return route will depart at 11.45pm

Let's all battle our hangovers together at the official next day afterparty. We have booked a beer garden and will supply the first couple of drinks and some snacks. After that drinks will be at bar prices and great pub meals will be available.

We recommend flying into Auckland or Wellington and making a short mini-break of it! If you're strapped for time then the closest airport is Napier.

Note

February is the peak season in Hawkes Bay. Please make your arrangements as soon as possible for the best rates and availability.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP ASAP or before the end of October.

Can I bring a date?

Sorry but our venue has a limited capacity (that we are already pushing the limits of). Please let us know if there is a very special someone we have forgotten.

Are kids welcome?

This will be an adults-only event but we have recruited some wonderful babysitters and children entertainers. There is a cabin onsite (100 meters away), so you can check in on them at any point in the evening.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will be at 4 pm, so arrive for a glass of bubbles at 3.45pm. Children drop-off time for those using the onsite childminding service will be updated here shortly.

Where should I park?

There is parking on site but we will also be arranging a shuttle bus from Havelock North.

What should I wear?

Pop on your best party frock or suit. Formal/semi-formal, so a short or long dress is fine and suits (with jackets) with a tie or bowtie... or cravat if that takes your fancy (and you think you can pull it off)!

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

The ceremony will be outside, so you might want to avoid 'kitten heels' or get some of those weird plastic high heel stoppers. The rest of the party will be on solid ground.

Will food be served?

Yes!! We have chosen this venue for the amazing food and wine. We won't be having a traditional "sit-down" menu but there will be a lot of food for everyone in a "tasting style" menu. Please let us know about dietary requirements!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We have hired a professional photographer for the wedding ceremony and it won't be long enough for browsing Reddit, so no need to get your phones out. You are more than welcome to use your phones at the reception.

Is there a gifts registry?

If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our house would really make our day! We have opened a wedding account with ANZ (both an Australian and New Zealand account).

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Nope, just dress to impress!

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

We have organized a bus to pick people up from Havelock North and drop them back after the Wedding. Exact details will be posted here shortly. Once we confirm where everyone is staying, we will send an email with the time and pick up/drop off locations.

Where should I stay?

We are encouraging guests to stay in Havelock North as it's a beautiful little town quite close to the venue. We suggest looking at Airbnb, especially if you are in a group (it's peak season so get in quick!).

2- (comfortable units- with kitchenette)
3- (solid budget motel with air-con and pool)

We also recommend checking out Napier! It's about a 20 min drive from Havelock North.

Where should I fly in?

Most people will fly into Auckland or Wellington and it's about a 3.5 hour drive either way. Napier also has a regional airport if you want to avoid the drive.

Will you be having an engagement party?

As many people will be traveling for the wedding, we have decided not to have an official engagement party but instead will have some casual drinks closer to the event.

Everyone is welcome to join us for some Melbourne based drinks on the Sunday 3rd February at the Flying Duck hotel in Prahran from 2-5pm.
