Note

While we'd like to think the whole town will be celebrating us, Navy football will be playing at home this weekend and demand will be high for hotel rooms. Please book your stay as soon as possible to not miss out!

Graduate Annapolis, West Street, Annapolis, MD, USA

ROOM BLOCK is now closed. We still recommend you stay at the Graduate. :)

ABOUT - The Graduate Hotel is a boutique hotel that packs in a whole lot of charm. With a throwback, nautical and Navy theme, there are pleasant accents and designs around every corner. The Trophy Room is the perfect hangout spot with food, beverages and games for the kids. Right next door is the Annapolis game bar with new and classic arcade games (& great bar specials every night).

Getting In

We recommend flying into Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Uber/Lyft rides are roughly $50-60 from the airport to Annapolis and would be our recommended transportation method.

Car

Getting Around Annapolis

We've got a great weekend planned and focused around downtown Annapolis. Downtown is very walkable or trips can be made with very cheap Uber / Lyft rides. The church is short drive downtown or a cheap Uber. Plenty of parking is available at the church. Parking at the Graduate is an additional fee. Ride Sharing will be highly recommended. Overall, if you don't need a car, we don't recommend it.

Stay an extra day or two and enjoy Washington DC & Baltimore

Annapolis is situated just 30 minutes from DC and 45 minutes from Baltimore. We would be happy to provide you some of our favorite spots to enjoy during your trip if you wanted to add a day or two.

Washington DC has more free things to do than any other city in the country. Most is readily available, but some things require advanced reservations. Smithsonian Museums are plentiful and free. The most popular are the Natural History, National History, Air & Space and National Zoo. Also take a walk down the nation mall and around the tidal basin to see all the monuments such as Lincoln, Washington and various war memorials.

Baltimore is home to the National Aquarium conveniently located in the heart of downtown at the Inner Harbor, which we highly recommend. There are also many great neighborhoods that are friendly and affordable.

Please let us know if you're planning to hang around a few extra days. No joke, we may just tag along.

Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.

Wedding Party

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! This is a family wedding and as such all members of your family are welcome. The reception will be in the host hotel for added flexibility. If you're pet parents only, the hotel is also pet friendly!

What will the weather be like?

November in Annapolis can be a toss up. We're hopeful that we could be looking at 50-60's, but there is a good chance we're looking at 30-40's. The ceremony and reception will be all indoors, so bring a nice jacket for your cocktail attire and for walking around Annapolis, and you should be good to go.

Where should I park?

The ceremony at St Mary's has plenty of free parking. The reception and hotel are paid parking. If you're staying at the hotel there is a daily fee. If you're just coming to the reception, there will be $16 valet parking during the reception, otherwise standard self-parking. There is a city garage about a block away that will be cheaper if you're willing to walk.

What should I wear?

Please see our Schedule for the dress code.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Just bring a nice coat for traveling in between.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Whatever you're most comfortable in. :) We will be on the dance floor at the reception, so please come join us!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Honestly, we aren't really bothered if you do; however, out of respect for the church, St. Mary's requests that the celebration remains phone & camera free (outside of our photographer). We will happily share lots of photos after the wedding. At the reception, have at it! Just make sure you share them with us. :)

Will there be dancing?

You must not know us. Of course!

Is there a gifts registry?

The best gift we can ask for is your presence. We will have a registry linked to this page at some point soon.

Will the ceremony and reception be socially distanced?

We respect the seriousness of COVID-19, but feel like the risk of gathering right now is low. We will not be actively trying to social distance or enforce any mask policies. If you feel more comfortable in a mask or need a different seating arrangement, please wear one and ask how we can best accommodate you to ensure you have a great time!

Will the reception be live streamed?

Please reach out to Joe at jpudlick@live.com if you aren't able to attend and would like to watch via live stream.

Will you have babysitters on the premises?

We will not, but we highly recommend you get a room at the hotel. We will have a kids area with activities at the reception to help keep them occupied.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We know a thing or two about that. Please include those details in your RSVP. If something's not right, please let a member of the wedding party or table servers know so we can best accommodate you.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

The Graduate Hotel Annapolis.
