Tidbits
Who made the first move? How?
Surprisingly, Kara! She extended an invitation to introduce him to her love language... Chick- Fil-A! He declined!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Whoever happens to be closer to the trash ;)
What was your most memorable date?
We have had so many amazing dates over the course of our relationship! Some of our favorites include CMA festivals, taking pictures together, holiday world visits, and so much more!
What's your favorite activity together?
We LOVE to go to the gym together, play tennis, and walk our yorkie, Toby! It just gives us time to focus on each other and talk. We also love to watch random reality TV and cook together. Just anytime we are blessed to be in each other's company we are happy!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Harrison has made it a surprise for Kara! Stay tuned!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
We love unique restaurants in Nashville or any city we are visiting. Some of our favorite Nashville restaurants include: The Standard, ML Rose, Oak Steakhouse, Bucca Di Beppo... Others when in different areas include: Chart House, Rio de Brazil, and any Chick Fil A!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
We have been so fortunate enough to take a few amazing trips together! Most recently, we went to Cabos San Lucas in Mexico! It was absolutely beautiful and so fun!
A life goal of ours
To build our own home, have tons of pets, and to both go to graduate school!
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
We tend to be very adventurous and spur of the moment people! Life tends to take us by surprise and throw many curveballs our way. We love to tackle them together, even if that means leaving for Chattanooga or Arkansas without a few days notice at 3 AM! One time, Kara and Harrison ran a 5K together for the promise of donuts!
The dorkiest thing about us is
There are probably a million different things. We love to have mini dance parties in the living room quite often! Kara also often gives Harrison science lessons on a whiteboard for class. We also keep Pepto Bismol in every nook and cranny of our cars and house!
A social cause we care about
Education opportunities for all people! We believe that everyone should be able to experience the privilege of education and to be able to make their own choices in this life!
We are regulars at
Ichiban Steakhouse in Springfield, TN, Chick Fil A, and Chili's in Hendersonville for a good ol' lava cake! Those are our absolute favorite places!
Teach us something about
Marriage! Duh! We love any advice that comes our way! Please feel free to give us all your tips, tricks, recipes, and anything else you can think of!
We take pride in
Our commitment to each other through the good and bad! We always stand by the idea of choosing each other through everything and putting God first in our relationship. We feel so lucky to be able to go through this life together and to have met at such a young age! Oh and of course our yorkie, Toby makes us so proud!
Where are you guys headed in life, what's the plan?
Harrison and Kara will be moving with Toby to Cordova, TN. Kara will be attending medical school at Baptist College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) while Harrison is a regional manager/personal training director for 2 Stretch zone gyms in the area. Harrison hopes to go on into physical therapy school, once Kara graduates from medical school and is in residency. Toby plans on remaining to be the best yorkie-child Harrison and Kara could ever ask for.
Where to Stay
While we do not have room blocks reserved, these are some hotels in the area that you might find comfortable and available.

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in an air conditioned reception space.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so plan accordingly. However...the reception space is fully floored. Whatever works for you!

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app, Joy, or via the QR code that is provided for everyone at the reception. We absolutely love photos from all points of view.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we have hired an incredible photographer and videographer to capture that moment.

A dessert buffet and cake will be served after dinner.

Will I have to pay for parking?
Parking is absolutely free and conducted by security and parking attendants!
Will there be dancing?
OF COURSE! If you know the bride and groom, you know that they absolutely LOVE to dance. Bring your dancing shoes...
Will there be any activities happening that I need to know about?
There is an absolutely beautiful pool at the Cherokee Dock! Maybe you should be prepared if there was a spontaneous end-of-the-night jump in!
What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
There will be a cocktail hour with delicious appetizers and drinks going around. Please also feel free to use this time to take photos in front of the mansion and around the grounds. It is so stunning there!
What time will the reception end?
The reception will promptly conclude at 10:00 PM.
Is there a gifts registry?
While we are not expecting anything, there is a registry linked to this website for you to explore. Please do not feel inclined to buy anything; your presence is enough!
Can you explain the Dress Code?
Dress Code: Cocktail to Formal Attire
Our wedding will be a summer celebration, and we’d love for you to dress in cocktail or more formal attire that suits the season. Think elegant! We ask that you please refrain from wearing jeans or anything considered casual.
