Negril, Jamaica
Story
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
The scripture quoted above defines our story and is actually the reason for our wedding date. Let's travel down memory lane to where it all began…
We actually met almost 15 years ago in Florida. It was a brief encounter but one that made a lasting impression. According to Dwayne he liked Kimmi from then, but claims Kimmi wasn't ready for a guy like him. While Kimmi says he wasn't ready for a woman like her! We both moved on with our lives after that day and had a decade to grow through varying experiences which led both of us back to Jamaica.
Fast forward to Jamaica Carnival where Kimmi was reveling and Dwayne was capturing the day through his "magic" lenses. We bumped in to each other "chippin' down the road" and reconnected.
A couple years of marathon conversations, casual interactions, lots of laughter, food and even some tears, we started to take each other seriously and our love story truly unfolded. We have been blessed with two incredible children in the past three years and have traveled to some pretty amazing places; and we couldn't be more excited to take this next step together to officially become husband and wife.

We’ve been together for a while and have a lovely home.
There are not too many things we don’t already own.
Our dream is to honeymoon in a foreign land
And walk along the beach hand in hand.
So please don’t be offended, and please don’t think we’re brash,
But if thoughts were on a present, we would prefer the cash.
But the most important thing to say
Is thank you for being with us to celebrate our day!
