We met each other playing volleyball at Upham Beach, but we did not officially become friends until Labor Day weekend in 2019 when they participated in a fundraising volleyball tournament.

Travis is the designated trash man.

It is not necessarily a first move per say, but one night Kristin asked Travis if he wanted to go out in Tampa with Kristin and a couple of friends. The only stipulation was that Kristin had to stay on the couch at his apartment because Kristin did not want to drive home after drinking. Later that night, Kristin realized that the couch was uncomfortable, so Kristin set up a pillow barrier in Travis' bed. Before going to bed, we stayed up giggling and both realized we should hang out again.

Our most memorable date would have to be October 30, 2021, when we decided to buy World Series tickets for Game 4 between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros. The Braves won in dramatic fashion in 30 degree weather. Kristin was cold and pregnant (which also means sober), but grateful we were in the seats that were covered. Kristin was a trooper even when the rain started to blow on them. Travis was so excited that he didn't notice the cold. It was by far, one of the best weekends we have had in our relationship. Kristin also loved that Travis could barely speak the following day. ;)

We love to play card games and volleyball together even though we both are very competitive, so it gets quite intense. To this day, Travis' name for Kristin in his phone is "The Enemy"

We have not narrowed that down, but we do know that we would like to travel abroad for a week or two. Kristin wants at least one day or two days at the beach with an umbrella drink in her hand. Travis wants days filled with mimosas and good food.

There are just too many meals to talk about, but every year since their first anniversary, we go to Salt Rock Grill for a scrumptious meal. In 2022, Lincoln came with us for our anniversary meal. Lincoln was very popular.

In January of 2022, we traveled to Hawaii for our babymoon. We camped on the beach in Kauai for a week and stayed in Waikiki Beach for a week. We did everything from swimming with sea turtles, hiking in the mountains, enjoying the sunrise/sunsets and trying the local cuisine. We also got engaged during this trip. If you want to hear a funny story about our engagement then you have to attend the wedding.

We are really grateful that we agree on how to raise our baby girl, Lincoln. We also agree on that spending time with our friends and family top the priority list. We do not argue much, but our sarcastic remarks to each other could make an outsider think we are fighting.

A life goal that we have been discussing since 2020 is that we eventually would like to live in another country for a period of time to experience different cultures and lifestyles.

Travis loves the fact that Kristin always attempts to make the best of every situation even though sometimes it doesn't work out.

Kristin loves that Travis wants to make sure she smiles every day whether that happens teasing her, making up song lyrics or licking her face.
