Q & A
For our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q&A list below:
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 4/21/2023 so we can have an accurate headcount. We will be sending out invitations at a later date.
Can I bring a date?
Due to the space limitations of an at-home wedding (particularly the parking), we aren't able to invite as many people as we would like! Please check your invitation for any additional guests we've included.
Where should I park?
There will be parking along the right-hand side of Prospect Street as you come up the street. We strongly encourage you to carpool with other guests to minimize the cars along the street.
What should I wear?
Garden party attire! This is a backyard wedding, so you don't have to get too formal, but we love an opportunity for everyone to dress up a bit. We recommend lightweight dresses or trousers because it may be warm in early June, but bring some light layers in case the weather is cool or cools down later in the evening.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be under a tent. We will have walls for the tent in the event of rain or inclement weather.
What will the toilet situation look like?
We plan to have two portable toilets outdoors for convenient access, but guests are welcome to go indoors and use either of our two regular toilets as well.
How will food and drinks be served?
We will serve an array of specialty pizzas for dinner. We will also have appetizers before dinner, snacks for guests who stay later at night, and a bar stocked with beer, wine, liquor, coffee, tea, and lemonade.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
We will be celebrating on the lawn, so we advise not wearing any heels that would be slender enough to sink into the grass.
Will there be dancing?
We won't have a dance floor or dancing as a main activity, but will we be playing music while we enjoy yard games throughout the evening, and everyone is welcome to dance around the yard if the music moves them!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us.
Will last names be changing after the wedding?
No, we will both be keeping our names as they are.
Whom should I call with questions?
Please contact Chris at (603) 475-0696 or Kristin at (978) 895-1164.
Registry
What we want most is to share our wedding day with you! But, if you insist on gifting us something more, we've added links to a few items we could use for our house, some options to help contribute to our honeymoon (we've planned a two-week trip to Paris and London in September!), and a fund to help us give to one of our favorite charities.
Our Story
Our story ... is a story of online dating during a global pandemic, plus some good timing. Kristin joined Match three days before Chris's Match subscription was due to expire. We didn't meet in person for over a month, but working from home did end up making it a lot easier to spend longer periods of time together instead of always driving an hour and a half back and forth!
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
We met online (thank you Match) and our first date was at New Hampshire Audubon on Lake Massabesic.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love doing projects around our new house together.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We're hoping to take a trip to France and the United Kingdom!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Grandma Temple's 80th birthday meal at the Old Salt Restaurant was amazing!
The dorkiest thing about us is
We enjoy reading aloud to each other :)
We are regulars at
If there's a Panera nearby, few other restaurants usually stand a chance.
