A Note From Lacy & Jon

We can't wait to welcome you to Tahoe and beautiful Martis Camp for our wedding weekend! Thank you for being a part of our special day, it means the world to have our closest friends and family by our side. Now, let's celebrate!

About Us

How did you first meet?

Although we may not have known it at the time, our love story began at USC. Our friendship grew over the years and we started dating in 2011. And now, over six years later, we are still the best of friends and more.

What was your most memorable date?

Lacy: Watching JP go horseback riding is a sight I will never forget.

Jon: One of my most memorable dates with Lacy was when we went kayaking in Newport Beach and Lacy accidentally sank her kayak. She was so stubborn and wouldn't let me help her flip it over, so she swam it back to shore. Such determination!

What's your favorite activity together?

Lacy: I absolutely love traveling with JP, but when we have a weekend at home, we are the king and queen of binge-watching the latest shows.

Jon: After a long day of work, nothing is better than sharing a glass of whiskey and beating Lacy in dominoes or gin rummy.

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Lacy: You'd probably guess that I'd say Paris or London as my most memorable trip, but I'm throwing a curve ball and going with Cincinnati, Ohio. I went to visit JP when he was living and working there in May 2012. While it's not the most exciting town, we made the most of our time together and had a blast going to the "world's largest super market" (or so we thought...), getting rained on at the zoo, and having dinner on the river. We even took a mini road trip and went to the Kentucky Derby!

Jon: One of my favorite trips with Lacy is when we went to Solvang for the weekend to celebrate her twenty-third birthday. It was the first weekend trip we ever went on together and had an awesome time wine tasting all day in the hills of Santa Barbara County.

How did he propose?

We planned a little getaway to Newport Beach to enjoy one last weekend before Jon started his MBA program at UCLA Anderson. We grabbed a bite at one of our favorite sandwich shops and spent the day paddle boarding and laying in the sun. We got ready for dinner and then headed to "our spot" on the beach with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset, just like we used to do when Jon lived there. The next thing I knew, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. Of course, I said [screamed] "yes!" When I looked up, both of our families were walking toward us with flowers and champagne in hand. It was an incredible night filled with lots of smiles and happy tears.

Note

The Venue: Martis Camp

We chose to get married at Martis Camp because it holds a very special place in both of our hearts. After several trips to the Hannah family home, we knew this would be the perfect place to say "I do!" We are looking forward to sharing a piece of this community with all of our guests.

Northstar California Resort has a wide collection of lodging options that you can check out at our custom website (Visit Online link below). If you prefer to book by phone, call 877-260-5927 and ask for accommodations available under the group code GB4PANG.

We suggest staying in the Village, as many guests will be staying in the Timber Creek Lodge and the area will provide a great sense of community. Note

For those staying at Timber Creek Lodge or Northstar Studio, Condos or Lofts:

The front desk is at a separate location from the heart of the Village - it is located on the corner of CA-267 and Northstar Drive. You can either stop here before continuing up the mountain on Northstar Drive to your room, or skip this step by calling a day ahead for express check-in. For express check-in, Northstar uses a PIN code instead of keys or keycards, so you won't need to stop at the front desk at all. Call 1-800-Go-North or 530-562-2205.
