Listening to music and sitting out under the stars, we looked deep into each others eyes and leaned forward...to spin the empty cruiser bottle.
It must have been written in the stars above as the bottle slowed to a stop and we had our first kiss. A special moment, shared with 12 other tipsy, jeering, cheering teenagers.

Tidbits
Who made the first move? How?
After such a romantic spin the bottle kiss, we chatted for a while before rejoining the dancefloor. Jack's move was to ask for a 'kiss for good luck' before dancing. Not such a smooth move but Lauren must have wanted to kiss him anyway.
What was your most memorable date?
We celebrated an anniversary at Tokyo Disneyland, followed by an all-you-can-eat buffet in a fancy hotel. Everyone knows we love to eat.
What's your favorite activity together?
Dancing in the kitchen.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Port Douglas! A week of relaxing, adventure, snorkeling and celebrating.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Our first overseas trip away together- Japan.

As parking and access will be very difficult at our property, we would love our guests to catch the bus provided.
The bus will be departing the following locations. Please arrive 10 minutes before:
1:10pm Shaws Bay Hotel Car Park (3 Brighton St, East Ballina)
1:20pm The Point Ballina (The new Ramada Hotel: 2 Martin St Ballina)
1:25pm The West Tower Tavern (89-93 Kalinga St, West Ballina)

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by April 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Can I bring a date?
Please let us know if you would like to bring a date. Most envelops were addressed to include plus ones.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday dinner and Sunday recovery brunch!
Where should I park?
Please catch the bus or let us know if that is not possible.
What should I wear?
As this is a garden wedding, please consider your shoe choices- boots, wedges or block heels would be best.
Is there a gifts registry?
We have been living together for years now, so we have most household things we need (we are also on solar power so it's not great for appliances). We will have a wishing well.
What will the weather be like?
Winter in Ballina usually only gets to a low of around 15. We will have lots of little fire's and throw rugs around the reception area to keep you warm.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
