Story

It all started on this very porch -pictured on desktop, seen in photos section on mobile (shout out to the Fine's!). Leah was having a great week - she celebrated her birthday and a few days later guess who came into her life... Bamba! Then a few days later, Jacob and Leah met!

We truly found love in a hopeless place, 2020 covid summer - life felt like it all halted. But once we met it started moving forward.

A day hasn't gone by since August 1, 2020 that we haven't talked. There was an instant connection, and it has grown every day since.

How did you propose?

Jacob created a scavenger hunt to some of their favorite places in Chicago. At each spot someone they had been there with was waiting with the next clue, leading Leah to their apartment rooftop where Jacob was waiting with rose petals, pictures, Bamba, a photographer, and the ring!

What should I wear?

Our dress code is 'Formal'. This could include a suit and tie, a long dress, or pantsuit.

What will the weather be like?

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We have done our due dilligence to find a photographer to capture the beauty and joy of the day. Please do not have your phone out during the ceremony. During the party - feel free to take photos and share them on our app Joy.

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

No - Leah and Jacob will both be keeping their respective last names

Where should I park?

There is free parking at the hotel and there will be valet at the venue.

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Transportation will not be provided, we recommend using Uber and Lyft so you can party the night away with us.

Will there be dancing?

We expect our guests to come to dance the night away with us!

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Do not wear white :)
