How to Set Up Your Own GodsWar Private Server
GodsWar Online is a popular MMORPG based on Greek mythology that was developed by IGG. The game features four classes, eight factions, hundreds of quests, and a variety of PvP modes. However, some players may prefer to play on their own private server, where they can customize the game settings, enjoy higher rates, and avoid the limitations of the official server.
Setting up your own GodsWar private server is not an easy task, but it is possible if you have some technical skills and patience. In this article, we will guide you through the basic steps of creating your own GodsWar private server, using the files and tools that are available online.
Step 1: Download the Server Files and Client
The first step is to download the server files and client that you will need to run your own GodsWar private server. You can find them on various websites and forums, such as RaGEZONE[^1^], SoundCloud[^2^] [^3^], or [^4^]. Make sure you download the latest version of the files and client, and scan them for viruses before using them.
Step 2: Install and Configure the Server Files
The next step is to install and configure the server files on your computer or a dedicated server. You will need a Windows operating system, preferably Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016 or later. You will also need to install some software dependencies, such as MySQL, PHP, Apache, and Visual C++ Redistributable Packages.
After installing the software dependencies, you will need to extract the server files to a folder of your choice. Then, you will need to edit some configuration files, such as config.ini, database.ini, ipconfig.ini, and server.ini. You will need to change some values according to your preferences and specifications, such as the server name, port number, IP address, database name, username, password, etc.
You will also need to import the database files to your MySQL server using a tool like phpMyAdmin or MySQL Workbench. The database files are usually located in a folder called db or sql inside the server files folder. You will need to create a new database with the same name as in your database.ini file, and then import the .sql files to it.
Step 3: Run the Server Applications
The final step is to run the server applications that will make your GodsWar private server functional. You will need to run several applications in a specific order, such as LoginServer.exe, GameServer.exe, WorldServer.exe, etc. You can find them in a folder called bin or exe inside the server files folder. You may need to run them as administrator or in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
Once you run all the server applications successfully, you should see some messages indicating that your server is online and ready to accept connections. You can also check your server status using a tool like ServerMonitor.exe or ServerStatus.exe.
Step 4: Connect to Your Server Using the Client
The last step is to connect to your server using the client that you downloaded earlier. You will need to edit some configuration files in your client folder, such as config.ini or ipconfig.ini. You will need to change some values according to your server settings, such as the IP address and port number of your LoginServer.exe application.
After editing the configuration files, you can launch the client application called GWO.exe or GodsWar.exe. You should see a login screen where you can enter your username and password. If everything works correctly, you should be able to log in and create your character.
Conclusion
Congratulations! You have successfully set up your own GodsWar private server. Now you can enjoy playing GodsWar Online with your own rules and settings. However, keep in mind that running a private server is not an easy task. You may encounter some errors or bugs along the way. You may also need to update your server files and client regularly to keep up with the official updates and patches.

Tidbits

How did you first meet?

See Our Story!

Who made the first move? How?

He made the first move when he texted me on New Years day. A few hours later we had plans for dinner that week.

Who's going to take out the trash?

Whoever happens to be closer to the trash :)

What was your most memorable date?

We spent one of our first dates biking and then kayaking through the sea caves in San Diego. Our guide joked that a few hours in a shared kayak is enough to test any relationship—he was right! But we survived and that adventure remains one of our favorite memories.

What's your favorite activity together?

We love to paddleboard and bike in the park!

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Anywhere with beautiful beaches!

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

We treated ourselves to a five-course meal in Paris. It was magical.

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Last April we were able to see the Northern Lights in Norway. It was incredible!

We’re on the same page about

What's important to us. And that's spending time with the people we love most. (You all!)

Please RSVP by April 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday cocktail reception and Sunday brunch! We will also be providing a babysitting service at the venue during the ceremony if you cannot find other accommodations for them. Please reach out if you have questions!

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Washington, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Seattle should be beautiful, averaging 75-80 degrees, but will get chilly at night. Please bring some warm layers for the evening, we don't want anyone freezing their bu...well you get the point. ;)

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the arboretum.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!

What should I wear?

Please see our Schedule for the dress code.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a tent :)

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Whom should I call with questions?

Please call our lovely maid of honor Marcel with question at 555-555-5555.
