Story
We arrived to Queenstown, New Zealand May 2010; independently seeking work in this picturesque town. After both of us struggling to find work our paths collided when we both were offered a job at Vudu Cafe & Larder. Neither of us can remember each other at the beginning of working here so sorry folks it was not love first sight! My first memory of Victor is when a staff party had moved to a dance floor at a local haunt. The dance off seemed to go for ages but I pulled the last move that cemented in my mind, that I was the true winner of the Victor & Lucy dance but Victor’s moves did impress me. It is embedded in my mind as the first time we met officially. Perhaps a little different from Victor's version but I’m sure he’ll agree I’m always right.
Since that night we found that we loved the same music, the colourful fashion in the op shops of Queenstown, eating and drinking, basically simple things to go with the simple life we led. Our relationship grew more, we moved in together, we went traveling around the world, met each others relatives and often found my Yin to his Yang style actually worked out to be the prefect mix.

Travel
Getting In
We recommend flying into Puerto Vallarta International Airport from there you can book shuttle buses to Sayulita (it takes around 45 min)
Getting to Sayulita
There a lots of ways to get to Sayulita!
There are shuttles or taxis from the airport if you fly into Puerto Vallarta. The link below shows you all the companies that operate from Salyulita so you can pre order them.
You can catch a bus from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta (), it takes around 5 hours.
November is the start of the high season for weddings in this area so we recommend you look into accomodation if you know you are coming.
We have looked at AirBnB and they have a lot of really nice villas that are affordable. The more people you stay with the cheaper it will be so you could orgainse with your friends to book a bigger villa to reduce costs. We think most of the hotels in the area will be available by the end of the year.
We are aiming for a pretty relaxed week by the beach for the celebrations but would like to travel around to show those who have not visited before a little glimpse of this beautiful country. We aim to visit Oaxaca the week before the wedding (1st-2nd Nov) to see the celebrations of Day Of the Dead. Other places to visit on the list is the Mayan Riviera, Mexico City, Chiapas and potentially more. I guess we can formulate a plan closer to the time when we know who is in and time frames.
