This is a Modern-Day story of football and love (and alcohol).

November 17, 2012. Autzen Stadium. In honor of coworker Danielle Malliris' almost-birthday, a group of Maegan's friends planned a day of football and a night of debauchery. It was an epic game, but was also a terrible loss. Luckily there was drinking and dancing to look forward too.

Colby had also attended the game with some friends and had planned a numbing night of drinking at home. Instead, Danielle, a friend from high school, convinced him to come out and celebrate with her.

When they first met at David's House, he introduced himself as "Colby, like the cheese." ... Right? But he was cute, so they went along with it. Colby had volunteered to be Maegan's wingman but ended up failing in his duties and instead spent the night dancing with her. Numbers were exchanged. Suffice it to say, his number spent a significant amount of time in Maegan's phone under "Colby Cheese".

(This is where the modern bit comes in...) The following day, the texting began. It just so happened that Colby was watching the 49er game at the time and mentioned as such. Well, now they had Oregon Football, dancing, a Windows Phone (yes, they exist) AND the 49ers in common. That had to mean something, right? Then came the kicker (pun intended). "My dad used to play for them (name drops Joe Montana, cough cough)". Did you just hear wedding bells? No, they weren't a hallucination. Maegan's spinster life would forever be over (finally). She had found a man who would automatically be accepted by her red and gold blooded family. Plus, he was pretty cool. So that was a bonus.

The rest is history. It involves lots of football. And love and stuff. And now they're getting married and want to share in the celebrations with you ALL. Please join Maegan and Colby as they embark on their next chapter.
