Wedding FAQ
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
June
What is the plan for the ceremony?
We are having our legal marriage ceremony earlier in the day, as the venue has a limit on numbers we would like to host a knot tying ceremony with everyone
What time should I arrive?
2pm and grab yourself a glass of bubbly, nibbles and explore the gardens
Can I bring a date?
Hopefully we have already invited them but if you have a secret lover that we don't know about then feel free to include them with your RSVP - the more the merrier etc etc.
Are kids welcome?
YES YES! Dogs are welcome too.
Where should I park?
You can park on site. For those coming by train, we shall send out a local taxi number.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
We'll have a marquee for the meal but we are hoping for sunshine and merriment in the gardens and by the sea
What should I wear?
Animal print, shells, denim, sequins, beads, stripes and bucket hats.
What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
Play some boules. Go for a paddle. Have a boogie. Drink and be merry.
Will I get a chance to take professional photos with the couple?
We'd love some group photos down on the beach.
Is there a gifts registry?
After the year we have had all we are hoping for is a get together with our friends and family. Who knows if we can have a honeymoon but if you really want to make a gift, donations to make this possible would be gratefully received!
What's the plan for Sunday's hangover?
We'll be staying at the house and feasting on pizza or BBQ and sipping half drunk kegs before refreshing ourselves in the sea. You're more than welcome to come back and carry on.
Will last names be changing after the wedding?
No
Whom should I call with questions?
Luke. Maggie won't have a clue.
