Story

Hello! 👋🏼 Thank you for taking the time to visit our wedding website. We would like to first and foremost express our appreciation for your love, support and understanding.

As you all know, we were originally planning our wedding abroad and had to drastically change our plans to accomodate the ongoing challenges of COVID. We postponed and postponed again. Now, we're determined to celebrate our love even if it means it will be a little different that any of us thought.

Our goal for this celebration is to create a smaller, more intimate event with only our closest friends and family (yes, that means you!). It will still be a wedding full of joy, laughter, dancing and tons of love. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making the effort to be here and celebrate with us.

Before we jump in to all the details, here's some fun tidbits about Alex and me that you might not have heard before! Check them out and add our date to your calendars.

Love,
Mandy & Alex

Tidbits

What's your favorite activity together?

We love watching Seinfeld re-runs together! Whatever makes us belly laugh is a-ok in our book👌🏼!

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

Ooof, tough choice. I think we like anything but pizza has to be our favorite.

The dorkiest thing about us is

We come up with songs for our cats. We'll spontaneously start singing popular songs, change up the lyrics to fit something the cat did and sing it out loud. Like a karaoke-mad-libs-collaboration. So far we've signed multiple fantasy record deals.

We’re on the same page about

What's important to us: loving Jesus, loving our families and helping people. Oh and having fun with the people we love most. (You all!)

A social cause we care about

The Dreamcenter in Los Angeles! It's an amazing organization that we hold very close to our hearts and help out however we can. We volunteer, donate and engage with them as much as possible. Check them out!

We are regulars at

This little Thai food joint where the owner is convinced Alex's name is Erick. Regardless of the name switcharoo, he has our order down pat and recognizes Alex's voice on the phone. "Oh hey Erick!" We've since stopped trying to correct him and just say "We'll take the usual!" 🥡🥢

Teach us something about

Alex: He's a great cook! He loves coming up with innovative -sometimes crazy- recipes and his favorite appliance currently is the ice-cream maker.
Mandy: Lately she's been obsessed with flowers. She loves making floral arrangements for our home and also using them as subjects for her abstract watercolor paintings.

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to sunny California! Home of the best weather in the world. During the day, it should be beautiful, averaging 75-80 degrees, but will get chilly at night. Please bring some warm layers for the evening.

What time should I arrive?

Please be at the venue by 2:30PM.

Where should I park?

At the Crystal Cove Los Trancos parking lot. It's located to the left when you're driving south on PCH headed toward Laguna Beach. Parking is $15 for the day. Credit cards are accepted at the paying booths when you exit.

How do I get from the parking lot to the venue?

There will be a trolley that provides transportation directly to the venue.

It departs every 10 minutes at the designated trolley stop.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

There's special beach wheelchairs available for anyone who needs it. Please let us know if you might be needing one, so we can arrange that with the staff.

Does your wedding have a theme?

We're calling it Sunset Soirée. Warm temps, chilled cocktails, 100% fun.

What should I wear?

The dress code is Beach Formal.

What does Beach Formal mean?

💃🏻 Women: Light, flowing maxi summer dresses or full-length jumpsuits in the colors of the sunset or muted floral prints are ideal (think dusty pinks, clays and terracottas, lilac, dusty blues, yellows or even saffron). In regards to footwear, dressy sandals, block heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. Avoid stilettos since the ceremony and reception will both be held at the beach, on the sand.

🕺🏼 Men: A summer suit with a light linen or cotton shirt, no tie necessary. Jackets are required. Slacks, a dress shirt and a breathable sport jacket also work. Think light fabrics and colors that will keep you cool in the sun (khaki, light gray, light blue). Shoes can be a little more casual, but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Please, no shorts, sneakers or sandals.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Please, do not wear stiletto heels. We'll be standing, walking and dancing on the sand. Wear block heels, wedges or dressy sandals that you'll be comfortable in. Feel free to remove your shoes for the ceremony and leave them in the shoe valet we'll provide.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

Will there be dancing?

You bet! We'll be playing all our favorite jams and dancing until the sun goes down!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

We highly recommend staying close to Newport Coast. Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and Irvine are also good options for hotels or rentals.

Hotels:
Pelican Hill Resort $$$$
The Ranch at Laguna Beach $$$
Marriot Irvine Spectrum $$
Hyatt House Irvine $$

You can also look for nearby Aribnb or VRBO for group accommodations.

What time will the reception end?

9 PM

Is there a gifts registry?

While we appreciate any gifts, the greatest one you're giving us is your time and company.
If you insist, we kindly ask you to make a donation to the Dreamcenter Foundation via this link:
