Shuttle Bus Departs from Newcastle

The first pick-up will be at 11:45AM at Bewick Street (Alongside Saint Mary's Cathedral).
The second pick-up will around 12:00PM at Gosforth High Street (At the bus stop between Graham Park Road and Elm Field Road heading out of town, just before The Grove).

Once the event concludes, the bus will be leaving the venue at 11:45PM from the top of the driveway. The drop-off locations will be the same as the pick-up locations (Bewick Street, and Gosforth High Street).
Travel & Accommodation
U.S to U.K. Flights
Newcastle Upon Tyne is in the North East of England. As such, there are no direct flights from the U.S. We recommend flying into London, to begin with.
You can either book a connecting flight up to Newcastle via London Heathrow, or spend some time in London and split up the journey.
A direct flight from London to Newcastle takes 50 minutes. British Airways has direct flights from London Heathrow (LHR Terminal 5) to Newcastle Airport (NCL).
Newcastle Airport is located 7 miles from the city center. It is easily accessible via car/taxi. Newcastle also has a Metro (Subway) system that can take you from the Airport into Newcastle City Center.
London to Newcastle Upon Tyne
If you are not planning to fly from London to Newcastle, you can take a direct train from London King's Cross Station to Newcastle Central Station. The journey is around 3 hours. Central Station is located in Newcastle City Center. There is a Metro Station (the local Subway) that can take you to various places around Newcastle and the surrounding area.
Tickets from King's Cross Station to Newcastle Central Station can be bought via the website.
Please note if you are flying into London Heathrow, and planning to take the train up to Newcastle, that same day, you will first need to take the tube (Piccadilly Line) to London King's Cross Station, which is about an hour long journey.
Renting a Car
The venue is in the Northumberland countryside so is only accessible by car. We recommend hiring a car if you are planning on exploring the local area.
Car hire/pickup is available at Newcastle Airport or Newcastle Central Station. We've used Alamo car hire in the past.
Complimentary Shuttle

If you're staying in Newcastle, a complimentary shuttle will be arranged to take guests to Brinkburn Priory and back on the day of the wedding.
Brinkburn Priory is located in the Northumberland countryside, which is slightly North of Newcastle Upon Tyne (not too far from the Scottish border). Brinkburn is about 25 miles away from the city center, so the journey will take around 40 minutes.
As of now the first pick-up will be at 11:45AM at Bewick Street (Alongside Saint Mary's Cathedral).

What will the weather be like?
Typically June weather in Northumberland is sunny by English standards. This still means that there is a small possibility of rain. We'll be checking the forecast as we get close to the date. A jacket might be nice in the evening, especially if you get cold easily.
Where should I park?
At the top of the driveway is a large car park. You can park your car there and wait for the shuttle bus to take you down to the venue.
What should I wear?
Semi-Formal wedding attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place in the Priory. Cocktail hour and reception will be on the terrace (weather permitting)! There is a heated tipi and room inside for dancing.
How will food and drinks be served?
Food and drinks will be served throughout the day. There will be a 3 course wedding breakfast in the afternoon. Please be sure to specify your food choices when you RSVP.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
There is a section on the RSVP form to specify dietary restrictions.

What time should I arrive?
Guest may arrive from 12 pm onwards and will be asked to take their seats in the Priory by 12:45 pm. The ceremony will start at 1 pm.
