Story
I saw Nathan occasionally in our high school choir class, but I didn't talk to him much until we were introduced through friends. We started chatting every lunch period, and he would always make me laugh the loudest with the dumbest jokes. I remember one time we were sitting at a wobbly table, and he confidently told me he could fix it with a single sheet of paper. I thought he was joking, but I pulled out a piece of paper to see what he would do. He folded the paper as many times as he could, stuck it under a leg of the table, and gave my a silly grin. That was the moment I knew I liked him a little more than a friend:) -Megan
I knew Megan from choir during our Junior year of high school, but I had never talked to her. I got to know Megan because we both sat at the same lunch table. As the school year went into October, I started to get a crush for her, especially when she laughed at my jokes more than anyone else at the table. I really wanted to ask her out and talk to her in the early fall, but I was always too nervous. I had been messaging her for a couple weeks in November, and in December, we sang at a choir concert, and I offered to drive her home. I was so nervous but incredibly excited. After that, I asked her on a date and texted her to ask if we were dating. She said "I guess." I've always been the romantic type;) The rest is history. -Nathan
