Story

Our love story starts before common cellphones. We were lucky enough to have parents and siblings who let us spend many hours every day talking on the home phone. As we aged our friendship faded and we grew apart. One day a mutual acquaintance came into my work. I immediately messaged Christopher that I was mad at him because we were supposed to be best friend's forever, and the rest is history.

Tidbits

How did you first meet?

Through mutual friends as kids.

Who made the first move? How?

I, Miranda, messaged him first and hugged him first. He did make the move for the first kiss though ;)

Who's going to take out the trash?

Chrsitopher, of course. Always a gentleman.

What was your most memorable date?

We have a scratch off date book, and it said to call our parents or grandparents and recreate their first date. So, we mixed both of our parents first dates together and went to a drive-in movie and ate pizza in the car.

What's your favorite activity together?

It depends on the time of year. During the summer we love bonfires but during the winter we enjoy binging a good show.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Largo, FL. Miranda is scared of travelling but has been convinced to fly.

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

I can think of Christophers least favorite meal we have eaten together.... IYKYK 🙄
We are both very food driven. We enjoy even the simplest of foods.

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Last summer we went to the beach without the kids, and we played like children all day. We built a sandcastle, had a handstand contest, went up into a lighthouse and played catch in and out of the water for hours.

We’re on the same page about

The things that matter. We may not always agree but we agree on family and parenting and trusting God's plan for us.
