Surrounded by exquisite nature and rich history, Jonathan proposed to Nanxi in Machu Picchu. Our tour guide took the photo and captured the epic moment on video.

We love exploring the world and spending time with our friends and family. Together, in the past 18 months, we've hiked all five national parks in Utah and camped at Zion; roadtripped from LA to the Grand Canyon to White Sands National Park; flew across the Atlantic to visit Barcelona and Madrid; snowboarded in Aspen and Vail; rode on trains in Macchu Picchu and Cusco, Peru; lived in the Invisible House in Joshua Tree; jet-skied in Cross Lake, Minnesota and swam in Lake Minnetonka; made 3 separate excursions to Las Vegas; moved Nanxi's sister into the UC Berkeley dorms; stuffed ourselves with delicious food in New York City; attended 4 weddings; saw 40 shooting stars in Big Bear; chased the Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle; and spent quality time with Jonathan's family in New Jersey and Nanxi's family in Colorado.

My favorite traits of Nanxi are her competence, intelligence, beauty, and prioritization of our relationship. For my family that hasn't met her yet: She's 31 years old and is theCEO and co-founder of Enplug, the #1 open digital signage software company, and was named Forbes 30 Under 30. She's also co-founder of Nanoly Bioscience, a biotech company that develops polymers that enable vaccines to survive without refrigeration. She serves on the board of the California DMV's New Motor Vehicle Board and CarParts.com, a publicly-traded auto parts company. As a producer of the Amazon television show, The Bay, she won an Emmy Award. She's passionate about community service and serves on several non-profit boards. She loves running, hiking, and playing music with Jonathan. Nanxi grew up in Colorado and graduated from UC Berkeley, double majoring in Business Administration and Political Economy.

My favorite traits of Jonathan are that he's a polymath, incredibly athletic, very thoughtful, great at making me laugh, and an excellent teammate in life. Jonathan's 37-years-old and lives in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood. He's been in finance for all of his career and worked in healthcare investment banking at Bank of America, at Vanadium Capital, a hedge fund in New York, and then launched his own hedge fund, Mulholland Capital Advisors, in Los Angeles. He enjoys running, hiking, playing chess, snowboarding, and following geopolitics. Jonathan grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Indiana University with double majors in Finance and Accounting and minors in Economics and Psychology.
