Story

Upon starting a new job in September 2018, the first thing Nick did was say to himself "I'm not going to date any coworkers."

The second thing Nick did was fall in love with his new coworker Dana.

After some apology Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream (long story), a handful of bourbon soaked cherries (blurry story) and a lot of other stories not worth getting into here (saving them to pitch HBO Max on a limited series), they're getting married in a place they've both come to love: Cape Cod.

If you're staying at the Four Points or the Endless Coast, we'll provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue.

Four Points Pickup Time: 3:00PM
Endless Coast Pickup Time: 3:25PM

After the reception, the bus can either take you back to your lodging or to the afterparty at The Bomb Shelter in Wellfleet. The bus will come back to take all afterparty-goers home around 12:30AM.

Note

Places to Eat

What we recommend in Wellfleet and the surrounding areas:

The Pearl
Casual spot with live music overlooking the water.

Mac's Shack
Everything from sushi to scallops to sole.

The Wicked Oyster
Famous for serving world-famous Wellfleet oysters.

The Beachcomber
Maybe the best beachfront bar in the world.

Hog Island Surf Lodge & Beer Garden
Solid local beer with a nice outdoor space.

Other Cape Cod favorites:

Seafood Shanty
The best bang for your buck when it comes to lobster rolls. Right after you cross the bridge onto the Cape.

The Sand Bar
Right on the water with delicious fish tacos.

Pheasant
Incredible local cooking in an old farmhouse.

Ocean House
For if you want great seafood, an ocean view, and don't mind dressing up more than once on this trip.

Note

Things to Do

When you're not eating seafood or dancing beneath our giant disco ball, there are plenty of other great Cape activities:

Art's Dune Tours
Incredible tours of the Provincetown sand dunes with dinner on the beach. Nothing else like it.

Hiking
Hit the Great Island Trail for a view of the wedding venue before you actually get to the wedding.
nps.gov/caco/planyourvisit/greatislandtrail.htm

Beach
Anywhere on the Cape Cod National Seashore is perfect, although it might be a little cold to take a dip. Marconi Beach and Nauset Lighthouse beach are favorites of ours.

Bikes
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a paved path that runs from Wellfleet all the way back towards the beginning of the Cape. Check out a bike rental place and get peddling.

Wellfleet Drive-In
Old school drive-in complete with soft-serve ice cream.

Don't Bother Us
We'll see you at the welcome party and the wedding, don't worry.

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

Are kids welcome?

Nope!

What will the weather be like?

Who knows?

Hopefully it'll be in the 60s and sunny, but spring on the Cape can be a little unpredictable. We recommend bringing an extra layer as it tends to get windy down by the water.

Where should I park?

There's free parking on premises, but feel free to hitch a ride on the shuttle from one of our two preferred hotels if possible.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We'll have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property.

What should I wear?

Even though we're getting married on a beach, please don't dress like you're going to the beach.

(Dana edit: cocktail attire, please.)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Ceremony: Beachfront
Dinner: Tent Time
Dancing: Boathouse

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Anything that helps you comfortably walk in the sand and dance in the Boathouse.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Definitely. We might even want some of your videos after the ceremony to cut together a little memento.

Whom should I call with questions?

Walter
