Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP as soon as possible, but by May 1st at the latest, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
What should I wear?
Our dress code is black tie optional. However, what matters to us is that you to feel your best, so use this as a point of reference and feel free to dress up or down!
What does "black tie optional" mean?
Men: This is a good opportunity to wear a tuxedo (what we call a smoking in Swedish), but you can also wear a dark suit and tie.
Women: Dresses associated with this dress-code range from full-length gowns (or formal jumpsuits) to mid-length cocktail dresses. You can also wear a dark suit or tuxedo.
I want to hold a speech, who do I contact?
That's great! Please contact our toastmasters Erik and Zelena to talk through the details! Erik speaks Swedish and English, Zelena speaks Spanish and English, and they will both be happy to help you.
You reach them at toastmasters.nicosoph.wedding@gmail.com or through Whatsapp.
Erik (+46793006772) Zelena (+16132629049)
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we have to keep our number of guests down and will not be able to include them in the ceremony or reception. We will make exceptions for some close family members and traveling guests unable to find a babysitter.
Please reach out if you have questions!
What time should I arrive?
If you arrive on the day of the wedding, try to be there around 14.00 at the latest. The ceremony starts at 14.30.
What will the weather be like?
July is the middle of summer in Sweden and we hope this means 25 degrees celsius and clear skies. However, it might also be 10 degrees and rain. Come prepared!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors but the reception will be indoors.
Will food be served?
Yes! We will organise a formal dinner at the day of the wedding.
We will also make sure everyone staying over at Rockelstad get dinner, breakfast and lunch.
Is there a gifts registry?
You coming to our wedding is gift enough!
However, if you really want to give us something, we would love a cash contribution to our honeymoon.
What can I do at Rockelstad if I get there the day before the wedding?
Apart from spending quality time with the other guests and grilling hot dogs with us, you can explore the forest area around the castle, swim in the lake, use the sauna, go canoeing or play boule (similar to bollas criollas) and the Swedish game kubb.
How do I pay for my stay at Rockelstad / the bus?
If you are Swedish, just do a transfer to Sophia via Swish to 0707471848 when you RSVP.
If you don't have access to Swish you will be able to leave cash in a box at Rockelstad (preferably SEK, but USD or EUR works as well).
You can also make a transfer with crypto. Just talk to Nicolas!
I want to stay over, but not at Rockelstad. Are there any alternatives?
We would love for you to stay over at Rockelstad with us, but if you would rather stay at a hotel, here are some options!

I'm driving to Rockelstad Friday afternoon, when should I get there?
You are welcome whenever it suits you after 4.30 PM. We are planning on eating at 7 PM, so make sure to get to Rockelstad by then if you want to get something warm to eat.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the venue.
I want to explore Stockholm, should I come before or after the wedding?
We will be pretty busy the week before the wedding and probably wont have time to meet up with you. 😭 However, we are staying in Stockholm the week after the wedding and hope to spend some time with some of you who are travelling to Sweden then. We would love to have dinner and hang out in Stockholm with those of you staying, so we encourage you to stay a few days after the ceremony! Talk to us if you have any questions!
Whom should I contact with questions?
