Story
Niharika and Nick met at work at Airbnb in March 2015. Niharika was new to her team, so her wonderful team made her ask the "scary team" (Production Infrastructure) at work for AWS Permissions. Little did they know it was Nick's first week on the team, and so Niharika and Nick had to work together to get the permissions to work. Daily morning coffee in the office quickly became a part of the routine, and friendship soon followed; they started dating at the end of 2016.
Niharika and Nick had many adventures in San Francisco and beyond involving food, coffee and drinks. In 2019, Niharika decided she wanted to visit San Diego, and they loved it so much that they came back a second time two months later.
In 2020, Niharika and Nick both left San Francisco; Nick to go home to Canada and Niharika to New Jersey. After deciding that long distance was a bad idea, they decided to try living in San Diego - and they loved it! They went to their first Padres game (and went a few more times), ate too many tacos to count, and tried all 20 breweries in walking distance of their house.
In 2022, after nearly a year and a half in sunny San Diego, Nick proposed to Niharika on Sunset Cliffs. And now, we get to celebrate with you!
