Story

Two nerds, one match made in heaven. Drew, finishing up his final semester in graphic design, was tasked with finding a non-profit organization to work with on an event, pro-bono. He found MAGFest (Music and Gaming Festival), where Nikki was volunteering as Head of Marketing. From working together on the project, to late-night gaming sessions, to their first date in National Harbor, MD, Drew and Nikki's bond grew and ultimately flourished as they officially began dating in 2017.

In 2018 they adopted Lina, a hungry and sassy tabby cat, and in 2019 her brother Jojo, a sweet and endearingly-strange gray tabby. Drew proposed in December 2019 during Christmas—after plans were nearly ruined by Nikki becoming sick a few nights before. You can see the proposal video here: www.youtube.com/watch

In July 2020, the two were married legally but missed everyone's presence (thanks to you-know-what). Now, in 2022, they're looking forward to officially celebrating with ALL of their friends and family!

Monday, 5/30 is Memorial Day!

The wedding is over Memorial Day Weekend, so that our guests have an extra day of flexibility with work and time off - but please keep in mind extra traffic when traveling in and book your accommodations, flights, and rentals early! All relevant travel information is below.

Are kids welcome?

Due to necessity rather than choice, it is children of immediate family only. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off! If anyone needs help with making arrangements for child care, please let us know and we can help assist.

What will the weather be like?

Who knows — it's Pittsburgh! We hope to see sun, but check before you leave the house/hotel. Expect temperatures to be between 65°F and 75°F.

Where should I park?

If you are driving in, there is free parking at the Aviary.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.

What should I wear?

Please wear cocktail/semi-formal attire, but make sure to check the weather before heading out! If it's sunny, the ceremony will be outside and we will have access to the garden during the reception.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Wear what you'd like, but be ready to dance!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
