Story
Daniel & Nina first crossed paths on a dating app called Bumble. After some back & forth banter about queso and the best Tex-mex in Austin, numbers were exchanged and their first date took place over a Tex-mex dinner. They have been inseparable since that first date and quickly decided to be in each other's 'bubble' during the pandemic.
3 years later, they've shared many travel adventures, merged homes and are one big happy family with their 3 pets. On their 3rd annual strawberry picking adventure, Daniel finally popped the question and Nina said yes!
We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
We both swiped right on Bumble!
Daniel's profile shared his love of travel and Tex-Mex. Nina's profile showed her interesting hobbies and Daniel just had to meet her. It only took 16 total messages before they were on a date.
Who made the first move? How?
Daniel made the first move by asking Nina out 3 times in one week - they haven't stopped seeing each other ever since!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Daniel...or whoever hears the garbage truck coming down the street 🙈
What was your most memorable date?
Our sunset horseback ride on the beach in Galveston was so much fun!
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to travel together, exploring new places, foods & wines.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We are heading for a beach vacation in St Lucia!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
There have been so many. Sharing an anniversary celebration at Bob's Steakhouse with Guido and Verna was one of our favorites. We also can't forget dinner & a Cirque show with Nina & Wayne in Playa del Carmen.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Either hiking and ziplining in Costa Rica or eating our way through France. Both were amazing.
We’re on the same page about
What's important to us. And that's spending time with the people we love most. (You all!)
A life goal of ours
to spend an entire summer in Europe, or own a vacation home, or own a vacation home in Europe....
The dorkiest thing about us is
that we have matching Star Wars onesies. Yes, we wore them while watching The Mandalorian.
We are regulars at
our local Alamo Drafthouse. We love a good movie date (and mozzarella sticks)!
