Story

Not your typical love story, and maybe not even that exciting, but it is ours and I am so grateful for our journey together. As written by Nina...

Jeremy and I have known each other since high school. We had similar friend groups but were never that close. My impression of Jeremy was always, he is a fun-loving character with a big heart. He probably thought I was a bossy know-it-all.

That all changed one night in Swanville. Our friend, Stacie, organized a get-together for a local comic show. If you know Jeremy, you know he loves any chance to dress up. That night, he wore a red wig. Kind-of like Raggedy Ann. He paired that with his beloved MTV jersey. Who wouldn't be attracted to that?!

My bridesmaids are probably better at telling the ending of this story, but I will keep it short. It was the beginning of this amazing love story we didn't know was ahead of us at the time.

Our relationship was newish when the 2020 quarantine started, and while that may have made a lot of relationships waiver, it really strengthened ours. We spent so much time together, being bored and staying busy. By the end of 2020, we knew we wanted to start our own family. It didn't take long for Dax to come along.

On Christmas Eve 2021 Jeremy proposed in the backyard, with twinkly lights and a beautiful ring... it was everything I ever dreamed of! He even had the tripod for his phone and captured it all on camera! Check out the photos on our Memories page.

We are so excited to be "tying the knot" and making it official.

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share with us.

++However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.++

Whom should I call with questions?

Please call Nina 320-333-6462 or Jeremy 320-267-3659.

What time should I arrive?

A little before 4:00

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Nope, sorry guys! The hotels are really close, please plan a (sober) ride ahead of time.

Will there be dancing?

YES! Bring the moves!

What time will the reception end?

We have to be done by midnight!

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Nina's new name will be Christina Ann Rockenbach Clifton, Jeremy is still Mr Jeremiah Robert Rockenbach.

How will food and drinks be served?

Dinner is buffet style. Bring your appetites, we are having BBQ! Big Bore Barbecue will be serving up pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches with all the fixin's.

Is there a gifts registry?

We are registered at Amazon. It is pretty slim, we don't need presents, just your presence! ;)
