Story

It all began in 2015 when Liv followed David on social media. Yes, Liv made the first move 😉

Fast forward about a month and several dates of beachside picnics at Coronado, hookah nights downtown, and dinners and movies, David asked Liv the first big question, and she became his girlfriend.

Throughout their relationship, their bond grew deeper as they discovered their shared love for Disney, the same taste in music, food, and took spontaneous getaways to Vegas, Disney World and Disneyland.

They soon realized that their meeting might not have been a coincidence. They had grown up in the same city, found themselves in the same places at the same time more than once, and David even played baseball with the same group of guys as Liv's oldest brother.

Fast forward eight years later, David planned to FINALLY pop the BIG question and wanted it to be special and unforgettable. So, he planned an "anniversary trip" to one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the Grand Canyon. During a sunset tour of the South Rim, David got down on one knee and asked the love of his life and best friend to marry him. Now, they are officially planning the rest of their lives together ❤️

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP here on our website no later than March 2nd, 2024, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we hope you will understand our decision to make our wedding an adult only occasion (21+).

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking onsite and guided overflow if needed.

You may also leave your car overnight (no charge) if you party a little too hard ; )

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes.

What should I wear?

We ask that you wear semi-formal/cocktail attire such as a cocktail or full-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and reception are outdoors, but dancing will be held inside the castle great room :)

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. There are grassy areas and uneven stone that you will walk on so wear chunky heels or sandals.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos. But don't worry, we will have two professional photographers that will capture every moment.

However, during cocktail hour and reception, we would love to see your photos. Use our Instagram hashtag #ADreamComeDrews

Whom should I call with questions?

Please text our lovely Matron of Honor, Bridgette, with questions at 619-925-2517.

How will food and drinks be served?

Starting with cocktail hour there will be passed hors d'oeuvres and the commencement of open bar. Dinner will be a seated service.

P.S. Don't forget to bring cash to tip your lovely bartender <3

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will promptly start at 4:00PM. We advise you to arrive at 3:30PM to allow ample time for parking and to find a seat.

Will there be any activities?

YES! We will have multiple lawn games and a special photobooth we think you will love!

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

We're so glad you were able to make the trip to join in celebrating our happy day! As Ramona is more rural, we advise to stay at a hotel in Poway, or look at the local AirBNBs.

Will Uber/Lyfts be accessible?

Yes! Uber and Lyft will drop off and pick up at our venue. We highly recommend you schedule a pick up time as it gets later in the night since the venue is a bit more rural and it can take time for the driver to get there.

And you can leave your car at the venue over night at no charge if needed.
