Story
Working together at Natural Bridge Caverns, neither of us expected to find love, but one thing led to another and we were... roommates. Next thing we knew, 2 months into being "roomies" Drew confessed his feelings for me and we went on a date. Drew, being the amazing man that he is, swept me off my feet and we both knew that we were the perfect match. Several months pass, we moved into a new place and shortly after Drew popped the question in an intimate and romantic way (a vegan charcuterie board and a private picnic for those wondering).
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
See Our Story!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Usually Drew. He's a lot more proactive with household tasks if we're being honest.
What was your most memorable date?
After dating for less than two weeks, Drew and I went on a 10 day road trip through Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. Hands down the best way to fall in love.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love going for hikes!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We're camping in national parks throughout Colorado and Utah.
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Drew and I are big foodies so we've had a lot of good meals together. Picking the best is far to hard, but the most memorable meals are the ones we cook together (usually meals we see on TikTok).
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
The road trip we took to Colorado will probably always be the most memorable, because there's nothing better than remembering exactly when you knew you were in love.
We’re on the same page about
What's important to us. And that's spending time with the people we love most. (You all!)
Registry
Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.
Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by April 25th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Can I bring a date?
No one wants to party alone! Feel free to bring a +1.
Are kids welcome?
We love your well-behaved little ones and they are welcome to come to the ceremony and reception.
What will the weather be like?
Texas in May is almost always very hot and the ceremony will be outdoors, so plan for a warm day.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the Legacy Hall.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
What should I wear?
Please dress semi-formal or dressy casual. Please no jeans.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
During the ceremony, please refrain from any cell phone use.
Whom should I call with questions?
Please call the mother of the bride, Cheryl, at (512) 228-8248 if you have any questions.
