Tidbits
How did you first meet?
Bumble!
Yes, we are one of the lucky ones. We found each other on the internet and within a week decided to go out on an IRL (if you do not know what that means then sorry) date. The rest, they say, is history.
What was your most memorable date?
We went down to the Wharf in D.C on a Friday evening. I (Onyeka) had been to the Wharf multiple times before, but this time it was different. When we arrived to the Wharf, he handed me a hand written note that I still have to this day. We walked up and down the Wharf and just talked and laughed the whole night. That day, he gave me a new pair of earrings because I mentioned to him in passing that I recently lost one of my earrings and wanted new ones. We got dinner at a restaurant near the Wharf and reveled at the fish and chips that Ifeanyi ordered (Idk why his food always taste better than mine), I think to this day that was the best fish and chips I have ever had. That was the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. And the rest is history.
How did Ifeanyi propose?
The silliest thing ever.
Ifeanyi lied that he had hired a photographer for something that got cancelled. He said he had already paid and there was no point losing the money so we could have a random photoshoot. I was excited at having a photoshoot, because Ifeanyi hates pictures. So, we went to the Library of Congress in D.C. and met with the photographer. After a few pictures, the photographer asked me to face the other way and when I turned back, this silly boy was on his knees with the most beautiful ring ever!!!

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP on or before July 31st, to enable us plan adequately for everyone!
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your children so please let us know if this is your situation. Please reach out if you have questions!
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Florida, all of you out-of-towners! During the day, the weather in Jacksonville should be beautiful, averaging 75-90 degrees, but will get cooler at night. In August, you cannot rule out a chance of rain. The outdoor events will be covered by a large Pavilion, however when making way to the indoor reception area, if there is rain please come prepared.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking on site at the venue for both days with additional parking by the Charter School if needed.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our traditional wedding and wedding ceremony are outdoors, but there is a large covering that will shield the intense Florida heat. The wedding reception will be indoors :)
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them, please just be mindful of the photographers and videographers as it is their sole purpose to capture our once-in-lifetime moments :)
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Please let us know if there are any other ways we can accommodate you and your party. Thanks!
