Our Story
In the times before Facebook, when smart phones didn’t exist, iPods were something reserved for celebrities and the first thing you said to someone when you went to their house was "hello" and not "what's your WiFi password?" we met through a Michelle Branch internet message board.
You may not remember Michelle Branch, or indeed message boards, but given she was such a minor celebrity in this country, a small handful of die-hard fans became good friends.
One summer Anthony and one of his “Branchie” (yes, that’s what we called ourselves. Try not to get too overwhelmed by how cool we were…) were going to Bournemouth for the day, and since Andover was, when measured by Anthony’s blasé attitude to long distance, "just down the road" and "on the way" from Harefield he said they'd pick Nic up en route.
A few months later when Nic was almost enrolled in college but not 100% certain of the subjects she'd chosen and not wanting to stay in Andover, he suggested she move up to Harefield and enrol in college up there. He needed to find a place to live in the next couple of months and finding a place to share with a flatmate to share the rent and bills with was a win/win.
Fast forward a few weeks and it was all sorted and Nic's amazingly understanding and caring Dad drove her up to Harefield with two large cardboard boxes of possessions and that was that! Nic moved in with the Punshon's, and Anthony gave up his room and slept on the sofa. Before they managed to find a place to live (no easy task when one of the tenants is under 18 and the other one is self-employed!) Nic spent a couple of months trying not to get caught up in the Punshon family’s chain-tea drinking and trying to find new ways to politely refuse cups of tea from his Mum and Dad because she didn't drink the stuff. But that didn’t go so well as Nic was pretty shy and, well, now we both drink a LOT of tea! Who knows what the Punshons thought of the strange girl that moved in but she was welcomed and very grateful for having dinner waiting for her every night!
4 flats and a move to the South Coast later, Max arrived, Anthony proposed, we moved again and then figured we should probably start planning the wedding!
And here we are 14 years later!

Accomodation
We have gathered a list of local places to stay. If you wish to venture away from the chain hotels then a quick Google search will give you plenty of options to explore.
Sites like Booking.com and AirBnB will also give you plenty of choices, especially if you're looking for self catering accommodation.
Having lived in the area for 10 years we haven't had personal experience of any local accommodation so do make sure to check they meet your needs.
Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our FAQ first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Sunday 10th June 2018
What time should I arrive?
Ceremony Guest at 2.30pm to allow time to park and be seated by 2.45pm. The ceremony begins at 3pm.
Evening guests from 7.30pm
Where should I park?
Please drive through the gate and onto the grass to park. This parking is for wedding guests only.
There is a small gravel car park behind the hall but please note this is a public car park and is shared with The George pub so we would be grateful if you could avoid parking here.
If you're arriving or leaving by taxi please request that they drop off/collect from outside the hall so as not to obstruct the road or entrance to the pub.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes but please check with Anthony or Nic for your specific requirements.
What should I wear?
Clothes, please!
You may have guessed this won't be a traditional wedding so please dress so that you're smart but comfortable.
Ladies, you may want to avoid white wedding dresses as that may get a little confusing! Please don't feel you must wear a hat!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Whatever kind you think will look amazing with your outfit!
Do bear in mind that the ceremony will take place outside on the grass and parking is also on the grass. The other festivities will all be inside.
Whom should I call with questions?
Anthony or Nic...but realistically, Nic!
Gifts
Your present is your presence and we're excited to share our day with you! We have everything we need so why not make a donation to Mind or Cornwall Air Ambulance which are charities close to our hearts. We'll be booking our honeymoon for 2019 but have booked short break at a Centre Parcs in mid-October to get away and spend some time together as a family. We have also created a small Amazon List of cool stuff.
