Rachel & Tommy

We are very excited to have all of our friends and family together in Sevilla.

Seville, Spain

Story

I went to a wedding in Baton Rouge with my dear friend, Erin Perry. I was her plus one. It was a great Perry family wedding, Mr. John playing the washboard was definitely the highlight. Erin and I had so much fun we decided to have more drinks at Happy's. The bouncer was flirting with Erin, and he needed a wingman. He recruited Tommy to talk to me and we exchanged numbers, and the rest is history! Lololol!

Tidbits

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Croatia! We are so excited because this will be a new experience for us.

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

There are too many to name honestly. We LOVE food!

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

It's hard to pick just one: Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Spain, Puerto Rico, and always NYC.

We’re on the same page about

Basically everything, but always our dogs and travel!

Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.

Getting In

We recommend flying into Madrid. You can take the high speed train to Sevilla or you can fly into Sevilla. We have not decided which route we plan to take due to wedding dress transport. Lol. I will post the flights we book and route when we book. We plan to book flights on December or January. It's too early right now!!

I attempted to get a group code but there were too many variations in flights to make it happen for all of us.

Car

Getting Downtown

You can either get in line for a taxi or take an Uber from either the airport or train stations.

Note

Tips about travel in Spain

1. Many people in Sevilla can speak English. Some more fluent than others.
2. You cannot drink the tap water. The hotel will provide a couple bottles of water, but we always buy larger ones at the small grocery close by
3. You will need an outlet adapter
4. Sunset is very late is Spain and dinner is usually not until 9 or 10pm
5. Siesta is real. It's usually between 2-5pm. Many stores will close during those times. The restaurants and bars remain open (wine and tapas time!). Many stores will re-open after 5pm and stay open until about 8pm.
