Beto: Well when a relative breaks a foot, you really don't know what's in store for you. (See our story for the complete details of this crazy adventure.)

Rachel: Beto's aunt, Liz, broke her foot. And then she started playing matchmaker. :)

Beto: I did... Awkwardly... Very awkwardly... lets just say she thankfully put me out of my misery by answering yes quickly. She was driving us to go meet up with some friends to have dinner and a movie.

Rachel: He did. He asked me out while I was driving up one of the steepest hills in Pittsburgh. I was glad that some of his housemates alerted me that this question might be coming so that I could quickly answer "yes." :P

Beto: Let's be honest... its going to be me.

Rachel: He's right. I am lucky that he already takes out my trash sometimes.

Beto: It was on her 1st birthday after we started dating. After celebrating with dinner and friends, we ended up on the West End Overlook, where we were able to watch the storms come rolling in and crash all around us.

Rachel: He packed me a picnic dinner and took me to watch the sunset over the city at Schenley Park. He was really sweet and romantic about the whole ordeal. He even brought these goofy (Beto: "Romantic") LED candles with him in the picnic basket and showed up to my place early! (He's hardly ever early, so I could tell he was excited about whatever he had planned. :) )

Beto: Anything outdoors. Wether it be hiking, kayaking, camping, fires, or fishing.

Rachel: Agreed! But we also enjoy being couch potatoes and relaxing together.

Beto: She thinks we are going to Costa Rica, but we really are going to ...

Rachel: Costa Rica!!!! We are excited for an adventure. And Beto is excited about showing off his Latin-ness.

Beto: Six month anniversary dinner. We dressed up all fancy and went to have dinner at Eleven where the food was amazing and great atmosphere.

Rachel: Yes, Eleven was wonderful!! I also love whenever we manage to cook something delicious together.

Beto: We flew to Boston to visit my friends Matthew and Rebecca. We had a great time seeing the city, trying different foods, and enjoying good company.

Rachel: Beto and I went to Cedar Point this past summer. I have always wanted to go, and it was great to share it with him. We rode all of the roller coasters, and some of the best ones multiple times. About twenty minutes before closing, we were sad that we had not been able to ride Gatekeeper. It was closed all day due to the wind. We found out that it was open, and we RAN as fast as we could to get to the other side of the park to ride it...twice! It was a great day and ended with such a rush!
