Where to Stay

Where to Stay

Most guests base themselves in Queenstown, Frankton or Arrowtown, where our coaches depart — Gibbston itself is rural, so we recommend staying near a pickup point. Queenstown books out fast for late-spring weekends, so please reserve early.

Queenstown — Athol Street pickup

Novotel Queenstown Lakeside — on the waterfront, walking distance to everything and the coach stop (official site).

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown — central, modern, free breakfast (official IHG site).
Melbourne Lodge — friendly, great value, lake-view guest lounge.

Arrowtown — Ramshaw Lane pickup

Arrowtown House Boutique Hotel — gorgeous B&B with a wine-and-cheese welcome (4.7★).
Settlers Cottage Motel — beautifully kept, central, wonderful hosts (4.8★).
The New Orleans Hotel — historic Main Street pub with rooms, right by the pickup.

Frankton — Bus Hub pickup

Sudima Queenstown Five Mile — modern, walkable to shops and cafés (4.6★).
Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park — newer, mountain views, near the airport (official IHG site).

Treat yourselves — Gibbston, near the venue

Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa — villa-style vineyard cabins with fireplaces and a spa (4.8★). You'd need your own transport to the coach route from here.
Mt Rosa Lodge — tiny boutique vineyard B&B, exceptional hosts (5.0★).
