Story
Wendy's version:
We first met at Richard"s 50th but there is a backstory to this. He has known Glenn my brother in law for well over 25 years and had apparently been asking for an introduction for a while. When the intro didn't happen he invited Glenn, my sister, and I to his 50th. I remember wondering why he had a big smile on his face when I arrived as all the behind the scenes stuff was unknown to me. It still took him another 8 months to ask me out... which he did just before Christmas 2017 and the rest as they say is history.
Richards version:
We did first meet at my 50th in April 2017 but I had done my research in advance, as much as one can before it becomes stalking (a fine line apparently). I reached out to Wendys brother-n-law, an old mate Glenn/Shady/Spike to corroborate my findings and arrange a formal introduction. When the intro was not forthcoming I went old-school, but like everything in life, its all about the timing as I was travelling a lot. I used this time to ask loads of questions, Wendy passed the Beatles or Stones test, whats you favourite Pink Floyd Album test...in fact she passed all the cocktail/wine/food/life/love questions as well as the Janine Evans test. If nothing else the year that 2020 was taught me that we have a great friendship and a solid respect for each other, so here we are.

A social cause we care about
The Ocean and everything about it. it deserves so much more kindness and care than it is currently getting. That is why we support The Ocean Cleanup in all their endeavors to prevent the destruction of the ocean and to keeping it clean.
