Richard & Gail
We were both deeply struck as our eyes penetrated through the normal layers of social pleasantries during that remarkably close dance at A&P's where we met on a lovely spring evening three years ago. The world disappeared from Sandpoint, ID in those moments of awe. We discovered, many texts and 2 weeks later, that we lived just two 5-acre pastures apart! Richard had moved here 4 years ago - not knowing a soul in Idaho - practically into Gail's backyard.

Gail, mother of eight (most of whom you'll meet at our wedding!), her children and many horses, dogs, cats, goats, and rabbits, lived in the picturesque Round Lake neighborhood in Sagle for 23 years before that life-changing evening. Richard saw in Gail the most tender and loving soul - who let her heart be touched that night 15 miles up the road in that small artsy town. Gail was intrigued by Richard's sweet gentle innocence and was drawn to his depth of character and loving heart.
Our first date put it all up front with a marathon of hiking, kayaking, picnic on the beach - including a hug and kiss that we've never recovered from.

We now live together in our beautiful custom Lindal Cedar home overlooking an awe-inspiring valley here in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to our careers, we dance, enjoy RV-camping and exploring local mountains on our ATV. We joined many locals in practicing emergency preparedness also!

So… we are ready for the ultimate next step in our journey together! We are so very thankful to have you among our amazing network of family and special friends, and would love to have you join with us in this most special ceremony and celebration!
