It was a rainy day in May, and Ryan had been sent home early due to a Tornado warning. Ryan's manager texted him the number to a young lady to inquire about a job opportunity. He mentioned she had already left the office as well and had already poured a glass of wine and she would be waiting for his call. Ryan dialed the phone and a friendly voice came from the other end "This is Sydney."

A few weeks later, Ryan and Sydney became coworkers. Ryan was heads down trying to get up to speed on his new position when, "Hi!", a voice startled him. He looked up and saw a pretty girl, professionally dressed and wearing glasses. "Um, hi," he responded. "I am Sydney. We spoke on the phone a few weeks ago....."

After celebrating at a mutual friends engagement party and grabbing some late night eats at Taco Cabana, Ryan and Sydney began seeing each other in a series of hangouts. Starting with Sydney inviting Ryan to go to the JFK museum. It was Labor Day and Ryan did not have plans and agreed to go. Sydney seemed nice enough from our other hang out time and, then again, Ryan did find her quite cute as well. Little did they know that hang out would be the first date of a series of "hang outs," which would change their lives forever.

A few years and multiple hangouts later, Ryan surprised Sydney with a trip to Charleston South Carolina where he popped the question on a swinging porch swing in Charleston harbor. From there Team Shook was formed.
