Story

It all started with some Red-tailed Black Cockatoos. We first met 10 years ago, volunteering for the same wildlife rehabilition organisation in Perth. He was a vet student and she was an aspiring zoo keeper, we fell hard for one another, but had no idea that the future would hold so many adventures...

Tidbits

Who made the first move? How?

Sam gave Chantel some Salmon that he caught whilst fishing. Chantel was very confused, what does a man giving you fish mean?

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Too many to name! We've been fortunate to travel as much as we have, but some of our most memorable include: microchipping black flanked wallabies in the field, getting smashed by mozzies camping on the Fitzroy waiting for that elusive barra, swimming with whalesharks in Exmouth, sleeping in a van under koalas in the Otway, snokelling with manta rays at night in Hawaii, driving a Chevy from LA to Vegas, collecting banana trees for Elephants in rural Thailand and watching the sun set, drinking a cold one whilst floating with freshies at Lake Argyle.

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

Some that spring to mind include C restaurant's homemade gnocchi, frites and aioli at Little Creatures and the best chips in Doon Doon.

The most spontaneous thing we’ve done

Climb the Bicentennial Tree in Pemberton

We’re on the same page about

Exploring for animals at night.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Somewhere tropical... looking for geckos or something

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please remember to RSVP by July 12th!

Can I bring a date?

Check your invite for your +1!

What will the weather be like?

Average temperature in Bullsbrook in October is a high of 24°C and low of 10°C. The bloke that lives on the property reckons it a nice time of year.

Where should I park?

For those of you driving, there is plenty of parking on south east end of the property.

Is there a place to stay nearby?

Whilst Bullsbrook isn't super far away for most, we truely hope that you will not just help us celebrate, but enjoy a moment to unwind and let your hair down (or up!).

If you would like to have a few drinks, or don't want to make the commute home, the property has 130 beds on site, which cost you nothing!

It is simple dormitory style accomodation (singles and bunks) but if you need a place to rest your feet after a night of dancing, the option is there. All you need to bring is a pillow and a sleeping bag!

There is also some grassed areas for those who would prefer to set up a tent, swag or campervan at the further end of the property!

For more info about the accomodation and facilities, you can check out this website:

*Note - the "Lodge Rooms" are being used by the bridal party.

Will food be served?

Yes. Drinks and a grazing table will be ready after the ceremony, over at the Peppermint Tree. Some hot and cold canapes to follow and then a bit later there will be options of more substantial meals. Drinks will be free flowing from 5pm-11pm.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please let us know with your RSVP

What time should I arrive?

We recommend a 4pm-4.15pm arrival at Farm Weddings Bullsbrook for a 4.30pm start.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding is outdoors and under the stars, so please dress appropriately. We don't know if it will rain so we will have a large marquee just in case!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes of course! However, we ask you to please put your phones away during the ceremony - our wedding photographer has it covered!

Is there a gifts registry?

Nope! Your presence is our present. If you still wish to make a contribution, there will be a wishing well at the reception.

Will your pets be at the wedding 🐶?

Hunni and Benson will be at the ceremony and hang around for photos but then will be heading home whilst we party on💃

Whom should I contact with questions?
