Story

Sammi and Troy's story began in Charlotte, North Carolina, after initially connecting on a dating app. Once they discovered they had mutual friends, the two decided to meet up at a brewery in the Queen City. Troy was immediately drawn to Sammi's beautiful smile and glowing green eyes, while Sammi was equally attracted to Troy’s kind heart and strong sense of self and purpose—as well as his beautiful green eyes! However, what truly deepened their connection, were the shared values they discovered in each other, including their love for beach vacations, and finding fun while creating unforgettable memories simply by being together.

Early on, Troy tried to cook a meal for Sammi after learning she really liked scallops. Having never cooked scallops before, Troy ended up finding some interesting mini scallops and cooked them on a cast iron pan. The result was an unexpected combination of smell and taste that lingered on the pan, despite his best efforts to clean up afterward.

The two shared the meal and immediately began poking fun at Troy's unique scallop choice, his lack of scallop-cooking expertise, and the awkward barstools he had hastily found for their date. That evening turned into one of their favorite memories, filled with laughter and lighthearted teasing, setting the tone for the fun and love-filled journey they continue to share.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by September 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation’s inner green envelope lists everyone included in your invitation. If a guest is invited, their name (or “guest”) will appear there alongside yours. If you don’t see another name, we look forward to celebrating with just you!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Where should I park?

There is a parking lot located at the venue.

What should I wear?

The dress code for our Wedding is Black Tie Preferred. For men, a tuxedo or black suit and tie. For women, we ask that you wear a long dress.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding cocktail hour will be indoor & outdoor, but our ceremony, dinner, & reception will be indoors.

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Yes! We’ll have shuttles running between the hotels and the venue before and after the celebration. Details and pick-up times will be provided closer to the day.
