Story

HER VERSION - Brian and I met at a mutual friend's birthday party. He got there late (of course!) but immediately caught my attention. I wondered who this cute boy in a Cubs hat was and had to introduce myself. I learned that he was in dental school, had big dreams, and loved Chicago sports- but mostly I noticed how funny, charming, and easy going he was. After the party we talked on an off for weeks (mostly he talked and I put him off- sorry!!), but I couldn't stop thinking about him and knew it was inevitable that we would get together again. Finally, I gave in and we had our first date. He ordered us two humongous platters of cheesy loaded tater tots (this should have been a clue of what was to come!), but I was already sold. Sometime during our first few dates he jokingly told me that being with him might not always be easy, but it would always be an adventure. And that's what it has been for the last 5 years- the greatest adventure I could have ever hoped for...

HIS VERSION

Everyone who knows Sara, knows she a little weird. This is where our story starts. I'm not 100% sure how she got that way, but the more I have spent time with her family the more I understand.....and I like it.

We met at a party. My dashing good looks obviously got Sara's attention which is why she approached me to strike up a conversation. Things were going great and towards the end of the evening she offered her number and said she wanted to hang out again. What she forgot to mention was that she gave every other guy at the party her number too. (ok this is a bit of an exaggeration but not by much).

About a month of calling and talking to her went by and she couldn't resist me any longer. Either by attraction or annoyance, Sara HAD to see me......

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Hampton Roads , all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Suffolk and surrounding areas should be beautiful, averaging anywhere from 65-75 degrees. Bring options :)

Where should I park?

There will be valet service at the wedding venue, as well as a shuttle running from the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront. Please check out the Shuttle information for details.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

What should I wear?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony & cocktail Hour is outdoors, our reception will be in a tent :)

Will the ceremony and reception be socially distanced?

Absolutely, we will be doing our best to appropriately space and maintain socially acceptable distance for all of our guests. Also, our Celebration will take place outdoors!

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
