We can't wait to share our special day with you.

Introduction

Welcome to our wedding website, where we'll break everything down for you as we finalise the plans!
For some of you that don't know, we both met whilst working for Gordon Ramsay back in 2011 and have always remained friends since, reconnecting after Ross moved back from New York in 2016. He proposed (finally) in October of 2022 on holiday in beautiful Bordeaux.
We've decided to host our wedding in Bonnie Scotland, in beautiful Perthshire, holding true as best we can to Scottish and Nova Scotian traditions.

Invitation Information

RSVPs and Formal Invitations:

We're doing things a little different in terms of invitations and RSVPs, as we have dear friends and family travelling from all over and wanted to make it as efficient as possible. We're sending out our Save The Date's first, where you're able to respond via the link above if you can join us or not. Depending on your 'yes' (we hope its a yes!) or your 'no', we will send you an official invitation with all the final details about the day and the events leading up to it.
We understand that travelling this far for some is quite a commitment and completely understand if you cannot make it and we hope to spend time with you when we can, following the wedding.

Getting into Town

We recommend flying into Edinburgh Airport!

Car

Getting to the Area

There a lots of ways to get close to the venue if you're flying into Edinburgh Airport. You can take a train into Perth (from Edinburgh Waverley Station), bus (if you feel like an adventure) or jump in a car straight from the airport. Timings vary but average about an hour. There is a tram that takes you straight into Edinburgh Waverly Station (Princes Street stop) that leaves every 7 mins from the airport, it's just beside the massive Edinburgh sign as you exit the airport. Change platforms if you're going to onwards to Perth or enjoy Edinburgh!

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have questions, please check out our Q & A!

When is the RSVP deadline?

We are sending out our RSVPs in batches, family and bridal party first - Please go by the date on the back of your personal Save the Date or Invitation, any issues or delays please don't hesitate to get in touch with directly with the Bride or the Groom.

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1! (Or ask the Bride and Groom!)

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday reception. We may introduce a babysitting service at the venue (only if needed) during the ceremony and reception if you cannot find other accommodations for them. Please reach out if you have questions, we know there's a lot of logistics that goes into travelling with kids!

What will the weather be like?

as the Scottish say: Fuctifano! (for the Canadians, sound it out slowly with a Scottish accent, you'll get it). Could be sun, rain or wind. It definitely won't be warm.

Where should I park?

There will be transportation arranged if you're planning on staying in Perth (which has yet to be finalised, we'll keep you posted) otherwise, there is parking on site available. Just let the Bride and Groom know if it's needed and we'll co-ordinate with the venue for you.

What should I wear?

Kilts are encouraged! This is a proper Scottish wedding - for anyone out of Scotland that would like to rent one, we recommend The Kilt Company in central Perth - see the YouTube video on how to properly send along your measurements! www.youtube.com/watch

Dress Code is Casual attire on the Friday evening for the Meet & Greet, Cocktail attire on the Saturday and if you'd like to wear a hat, please do! But please, no white. Send Sarah along any questions that you may have, if needed.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

This is weather dependent! We have options for both.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes, but we're having an unplugged ceremony to be respectful to the photographer. There will be signs to remind you, don't worry.

Whom should I call with questions?

Sarah (+44 7432-840356) or Ross (+353 86 440 3739). Please also feel free to email us at any time: sarahandross2024@gmail.com

Will there be an open bar?

We are providing the drinks throughout the day however after the Wedding meal the bar will open for the evening. As much as we love you all, we know how much you like a good drink...therefore its a cash bar. Ironically, no cash accepted, card only on the evening!
