Story
“Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.”
To begin with, we don't recall the first time we met. So, how do we know each other...? My sister is married to his brother. I was the bridesmaid and he was the best man at their wedding. And we are Godparents to their children.
Though we met many times over the years and even went on trips as a family, we never really paid much attention to each other.
Someone even mistook us to be a married couple in a Facebook photo and wished us well. That sparked our families to wonder "What if we make that true?" Ever since they have been trying to bring us together in subtle and not so subtle ways ;).
Fast forward to the pandemic, Avi came to Houston to celebrate our nephew's birthday. The day he was to return to Arizona, Boom!!! the lockdown was announced. Little did we know that our lives would forever change and our paths become one.
We had long winding talks, honest discussions, and occasional arguments. And here we are 2 years later, looking forward to our marriage.
In many ways, this is a wish come true for our families
