Awh...the birds were singing and the trees were whistling in the Phoenix Park. The only place you could meet during covid was the park so we had to share our first date with the rest of Dublin! I remember our first glances and I am sure we were both wondering what each other looked like without the masks. The day went well until we get lost in the park. Sharon persuaded me that in order to find our way back we had had to find a certain landmark tree :) I did remark that we were in a park and a tree is a tree! I was bowled over by the three songs Sharon had on her Spotify list that seemed to be on constant repeat as we talked and walked. This day was to change our lives forever and thankfully Sharon has a wider range of songs now on her Spotify playlists.

Travelling to Mount Falcon
The closest airport to Mount Falcon is Knock Airport Co Mayo. Knock Airport is approximately 23km from Mount Falcon Hotel.
Knock Airport is accessible through 1 or 2 daily flights as follows:
Ryanair operate flights to Knock Airport from Stansted, Luton, Manchester, and Liverpool
Aer Lingus operate flights to Knock Airport from Heathrow
Flights are limited so early booking is advised!
For guests travelling from Newcastle, there are currently no direct flights however, schedules may change for the summer months.
Mount Falcon Estate is approximately 3 1/2 hours by car from Dublin so ensure you give yourself enough time if travelling on the morning of the wedding. Eircode F26 H744.
If travelling by train from Dublin take the Westport train for Ballina. Approximate travel time of 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 hours.

Mount Falcon Estate, Foxford Rd, Drumrevagh, Mount Falcon, County Mayo, Ireland
We have blocked booked all rooms in Mount Falcon for the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July at a discounted wedding rate. The venue consists of 32 bedrooms of which 16 rooms have been blocked booked for 3 nights for the wedding party and family. This leaves limited availability for guests. If booking Mount Falcon Hotel please quote Sharon and Den's wedding and they will confirm if there are rooms available at the wedding rate of €220 per room per night Bed and Breakfast. For rooms that require a third bed (fold-up bed), there is an additional cost of €30 per night Bed and Breakfast.
We have been informed there is currently no availability for lodges due to previous bookings therefore guests may be required to seek accommodation locally. We will provide transport to Mount Falcon for the ceremony which starts at 2pm for guests staying locally in Ballina, and from Mount Falcon after the wedding reception which finishes at approximately 2 am. This is available to all guests not staying on-site on the day of the wedding. We will contact guests nearer the time with details.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony will be outdoors. Weather not permitting it will be in a marquee on the grounds of the hotel followed by our reception in the hotel
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app withjoy.com. We would request that photos are not uploaded to social media sites on the day of the wedding
