Wedding Ceremony & Reception

5:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. Following the ceremony, please join us on the covered porch for cocktail hour before we move the party inside for dinner, more drinks and dancing.

Dress Code

Semi-formal or cocktail attire is encouraged.

After-Party at Acme Feed & Seed

11:00 PM

We plan to keep the party going with live music at Acme Feed & Seed on Broadway after the venue kicks us out! You'll find Evan and Caitlin on the 1st floor. Acme is less than a mile from the venue and walkable, but we recommend calling an Uber or Lyft. It should be a $6-$7 ride from The Cordelle.

Getting In

Our downtown wedding venue, hotel block and many popular neighborhoods are within a 10-20 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic. Lyft, Uber, taxis and rental cars are readily available at the airport and throughout the city.

We do not recommend using Nashville's public transit system.

Hotel Product

Our Hotel Block

UPDATE: Our hotel block is 100% booked but is taking requests for one-off bookings through our travel agent. Please email us at sharp.scherwedding@gmail.com if you'd like us to submit a room request for you. See below for additional lodging options.

Note

Other Hotel Options

Feel free to stay at a hotel of your choice rather than our hotel block. However, we recommend that you book VERY SOON as Nashville tourists outnumber Nashville hotel rooms. Even the typical "cheap" hotels (e.g., Super 8) can be pricey.

Note

Airbnb

Airbnb is a great alternative to hotels in Nashville. They tend to be more affordable, especially if you're booking later. However, we still recommend that you book ASAP. We don't have specific Airbnb recommendations because there are so many great options but would be happy to help you find one if needed. Some of our favorite neighborhoods are East Nashville, The Gulch, 12 South, Midtown/Vanderbilt and Germantown. However, there are certainly great options outside of these neighborhoods and some not-so-good options within these neighborhoods. Please feel free to reach out to Evan or Caitlin if you need any help at all.

- There are plenty of local coffee shops to keep you caffeinated in Nashville. Some of our favorites are Ugly Mugs, Barista Parlor, Crema and Bongo Java.

- Again, our list is certainly not exhaustive, but here are a few other bars and breweries outside of the Broadway area we recommend: Santa's Pub (late-night spot), East Nashville Beer Works, Tailgate Brewery, Smith & Lentz, Village Pub and The Filling Station. Of course there is also no shortage of bars on Broadway and nearby Printer's Alley if you're looking for more of a nightlife scene.

- And here are a few more of our favorite restaurants: Mitchell's Deli, Mile End Deli, Five Points Pizza, Mas Tacos Por Favor, Rudie's Seafood & Sausage, Butcher & Bee, Otaku Ramen, Gambling Stick BBQ, and Pelican & Pig.

FAQ

Feel free to reach out to Caitlin or Evan or email us at sharp.scherwedding@gmail.com if you have any questions not answered below.

When is the RSVP deadline?

March 15, 2019.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

We hope to hold the ceremony outdoors but will move inside in the event of rain. The cocktail hour will be held on the covered porch, and the reception will be indoors.

Where should I park at the venue?

While there is no parking lot at the venue, there will be plenty of street parking. A traffic flow team will be on site to help you.

Where should I park at the hotel?

The hotel has an attached parking garage. Regular rates are $28 per night but discounted $14 nightly parking is available with our room block.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the wedding?

A hotel shuttle will be available to take you to the wedding. It is yet to be determined if they will be able to provide transportation back to the hotel. We will update hotel guests with these details before the wedding day.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Of course! The main entrance to the venue has stairs, but there is a ramp entrance on the side of the building.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Please put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony to live in the moment with us. We will share pictures from our photographer after the wedding!

Registry

Many of you will be travelling for our wedding, and having you with us to celebrate means more than any gift. However, we have put together a registry on Amazon for anyone who would like to buy us a gift.
