The year was 2017. Sky and Jorge were on similar roads and moving on from previous unhealthy, past relationships. Sky was feeling single and ready to mingle. Jorge was was feeling confused and partying his sorrows away. Fate and some amazing mutual friends introduced the pair and Sky was intrigued. Her first thought was “this guy is HOTT, and he has the most beautiful eyes!” Followed by “he has his own company?! And a husky?!” As Jorge’s A-team of friends hyped him up to Sky, she immediately requested his presence at her annual Halloween pregame extravaganza. They didn’t speak much that night, aside from Jorge running up to her and requesting she play the song “Gucci Gang,” to which he then danced enthusiastically. The following day, Sky asked if he was interested in getting to know one another better. At first, Jorge was hesitant to respond due to the heartbreak he was enduring from a recent breakup. He consoled his best friend, and now best man, Adrian, who talked some sense into him and explained he’d be a fool not to go and put himself back out in the pool of single fish (thanks, Adrian!). Jorge agreed and thought Sky was out of this world. He put himself together and headed over to her apartment, where they spent the entire night talking over a bottle (or two) of red wine. They talked about everything! Careers, friends, hardships, ambitions, the list goes on… They couldn’t believe how easy the conversation was, how much they had in common, or how purple their teeth were. And before they knew it, hours had passed, and it was already 3 o’clock in the morning. They sat on that balcony with their purple smiles and although cliché, the rest was history. Jorge and Sky hit it off, forgot about their exes, and never looked back.
