Our Story
After meeting in the basement of Townhouse in February 2012, Lisa & Chris had countless run-ins at Venice's finest drinking establishments. Despite an undeniable spark, they didn't have lift-off until June 2014. Lisa's good friend (and Chris's coworker) Charlie Andrews cornered Chris in his office at FOX and suggested he go on a date with his totally mellow single friend Lisa.
Things were going swimmingly when Amazon made Chris an offer he couldn't refuse in Seattle. Lisa didn't flinch! She calmly bought 7 coats, 5 pairs of boots, 21 beanies, 15 turtlenecks (all at a minimum of 30% off retail) and packed her bags. 9 very short months later, days after Lisa severed a nerve in her finger while pitting an avocado, Chris popped the question at Mt. Rainier National Park. Knowing it would be good to have a fiance to fold her laundry after surgery, Lisa accepted. They were both wearing tank tops, and have been speaking about themselves in third person ever since.
Schedule

Pig Roast & Toast
6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Everyone is invited to join us for lawn games, a big old BBQ and s'mores on our last night as soon-to-be weds.
Come as you are, bandana optional. We'll be wearing jeans with some country flair.
Saturday, July 22, 2017
We do, we did, we dance.
5:30 PM to 12:00 AM
All wedding festivities are on the ranch. We'll only be tenting in the event of rain so we suggest slapping on some sunscreen. Also, evenings may get cool, so consider keeping a jacket handy. Parking is available on the ranch, and we'll be hiring a local good samaritan to help with shuttling to and from Suncadia and the Econolodge.
Cocktail attire with a country twist. Suspenders, ties, bowties welcome. Sensible footwear for grass strongly encouraged.
Where To Eat, Stay, Love
About Flying Horseshoe Ranch and Cle Elum
We're so excited to get hitched in woodsy Washington, and introduce the area to our favorite people! Flying Horseshoe Ranch a former children's horse camp 90 minutes east of Sea-Tac airport. The Ingrassia & Slevin families will be in the area beginning on Thursday, and you're welcome to join us at the ranch anytime over the weekend, where you'll find cornhole, basketball and a pool. The area has lots to offer: breweries, wineries, fishing, scenic drives, hikes, and even the occasional Sasquatch sighting.
With great views come great logistical challenges! The area is spread out, and has no cab companies. We'll be working with a local good Samaritan that weekend to do our best to shuttle folks around safely. Once you've booked accommodations, please email us at slev.and.lisa@gmail.com to let us know the address where you're hanging your hat! We recommend staying within a 20-minute radius of the ranch.
Suncadia Resort
This luxury resort offers everything from plush hotel rooms with views of the Yakima River, to owner-rented condos and homes. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the ranch, and a short drive to the charming town of Roslyn. Hotel rooms and houses can be booked on Suncadia's site. If you don't want to splurge for a hotel suite, we recommend cross-checking VRBO or AirBnB; many owner-operated properties at Suncadia are listed there.
VRBO
VRBO will be your best bet for finding rental homes that don't have more than a 2 night minimum. We recommend looking closest to rural area of Teanaway (which is nearest to the ranch) and Roslyn (which is chock-full of charm about 15 minutes from the ranch). Many listings for condos and homes at Suncadia are also available here. If you have extra rooms to fill, or need a bunk mate, email us at slev.and.lisa@gmail.com and we'll connect you with like-minded individuals!
Econo Lodge
Embrace the rustic nature of the area and stay right in the town of Cle Elum. We have a room block here under "Slevin Wedding," to save you from having to spell out Ingrassia over the phone.
Huckleberry House
We have blocked out all of this charming inn in Roslyn for reservations for Friday & Saturday. Rooms should be $95/night including tax. Ask for Don, and say you want to book a room for the 'Ingrassia Wedding.' The block is on hold through the end of January.
All Seasons Vacation Rentals
This local company is another great resource for rental homes. Fees are a bit lower than VRBO, but some homes have 3 night minimums.
