Story
We matched on Hinge, at the height of the pandemic. Cameron was quick to ask Summer out and set a date and time for dinner. We had to change our venue because of the riots occurring in Salt Lake.
Summer was a bit worried that Cameron really wasn't that interested. He hardly communicated leading up to the date. She even messaged him the day before asking if they were still on (which he replied yes and he was excited for it). The day of the date Summer almost canceled...wondering if it would go well. But something told her to keep the commitment.
When she drove up and saw Cameron standing outside the restaurant she was instantly grateful she didn't cancel. He was incredibly handsome, wearing a tan sweater. Hair well done, clean beard, and he was obviously in good shape. Instantly she had butterflies.
Cameron describes that he was instantly taken in by how beautiful Summer looked. She was wearing a lovely sun dress and had obviously put effort into the date, which impressed him.
Dinner at Longhorn was delicious and there was instant chemistry. The conversation ran smoothly and both of us knew we wanted to see one another again.
It didn't take long for either of us to realize we wanted to stay exclusive. In 2020 we dated for 3 1/2 months...we realized we needed to take a step back and focus on some personal issues. We broke up and went our separate ways.
Fast forward 8 months later...after a few rough relationships, and a lot of lessons learned, we reconnected. Cameron had to tell Summer, "I can't be your friend, because I want to be your lover. I love you. Don't reach back out to me again unless you're available and interested."
It didn't take long for just that to happen. The first time we hung out again, it was as if no time had passed. Everything felt natural and right. From that evening on, we were inseparable.
We are best friends and share mutual love of many things. Animals, adventuring, bodybuilding, traveling, anime, reading, singing, music, movies and so much more...we love it all. We share mutual life goals and have big dreams we are working towards, together.
Summer is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley. She bought her first home in 2016 and filled it with what she always dreamed up...adorable furry babies. She brought 3 dogs and 2 bunnies into the relationship. She's been an Aerial Acrobat for 7 years and owns her own Aerial Studio. She loves the written word, music, art, and exploring the world around her.
Cameron is the owner of Excell Fitlife and has been the Head Coach for 6 years. He is a successful body builder and looks forward to next year where he hopes to be competing on a national stage to win his pro card. He loves animals, the guitar, reading, roadtrips and grilling steaks.
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
See Our Story!
Who made the first move? How?
We match on Hinge and then he made the first move. He was the one to as her out. He kissed her first. He told her he loved her first.
Who's going to take out the trash?
We try to share this.
What was your most memorable date?
Cameron: Our Post Show dinner date in Annaheim. We had Sushi and frozen yogurt then walked 45 minutes to a bad mexican restaurant to get more food. Which we didn't eat because by that point we were so full. We then walked to the Walmart, bought cereal and almost got stranded because Summer's phone died right as our Uber driver showed up.
Summer: His 29th birthday dinner. We went out and did our first photoshoot together and then I took him to Evermore restaurant and we ate amazing food while dressed up. It was around that time that I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with him.
What's your favorite activity together?
Walking at night, just the two of us. We get to talk and be together with no demands or distractions to our time.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Japan! So much sushi and exploring.
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Cameron: Carmine's....he cried when he tried the risotto.
Summer: can't remember the name...but a little Italian restaurant in Orlando, FL.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Cameron: Alaska in December. It looked like a winter postcard.
Summer: Christmas in Orlando and Georgia. I got to take Cameron to spend time with my parents, and we got to enjoy Harry Potter world!

How did Cameron Propose?
He took Summer to Park City to celebrate her birthday. They went shopping to get new outfits for another photoshoot they were doing the morning of her birthday.
The Photoshoot took place around main street park city. While on the bridge getting shots, Cameron got down on one knee, with ring in hand.
The entire moment was captured on video and photo!

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by July 20th!
Can I bring a date?
Please check your invite for your +1 (for the wedding ceremony). For the Utah reception, feel free to bring a date, please just include in your RSVP.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception in Alaska. Please reach out if you have questions!
For the reception in Utah, they are more than welcome to join the party.
What will the weather be like?
Alaska in the summer is simply beautiful, albeit, not hot. Be prepared for 60-70 degree days, with a large possibility of rain. It's best to plan layer options. Also, be prepared with sunscreen! The sun won't go down until after 11 PM.
We also recommend being prepared with insect repellant.
For the reception in Utah, weather will be summer and warm. The event is indoors.
Where should I park?
Please follow the signs at the inn for appropriate parking locations.
For the reception, please use available parking at the venue.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule for the dress code.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be inside the stunning Inn.
Reception in Utah will be indoors.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Phones will not be allowed out at the ceremony. We have carefully selected an incredible photographer and videographer to capture this special moment. Please understand and respect our wishes to not have other cameras or recording devices out.
During the dinner and reception, please feel free to use them and post your images to our Joy site!
Whom should I call with questions?
