We met through a mutual friend, our relationship has been one discovery after another, we fell in love, became inseparable and now we are about to start a beautiful married life together.

It was a beautiful sunny day, I got a call from my friend asking me to come down to her city she sounded so desperate, I asked why it was so urgent and she said business. A week later I booked my flight and called her from the airport, she sounded happy and excited, little did I know she had other plans. I got in late, so she asked me to meet her up at a bar, she said she was with some friends and she would like me to meet them. I was tired but still gathered the energy to meet her up, one of them introduced himself as Tam and we got talking it was so much fun. he came up with some cheesy jokes about me being a model and I taught he was cute...wow, i am only on the day we met, okay, let me speed this up a little...

Two years down the line we saw each other a lot, did a lot of fun stuff, travelled together etc.. i knew he was the one and i know he knew i was the one too..hahaha..

I was at a friend’s wedding with Ibitoru and the whole wedding nostalgia was kicking in when I decided to ask her to hook me up, so she showed me her friends picture and I decided to just scroll right – that annoying thing Nigerians always do when you show them a photo on your phone. I was like “this one… whats her story” , So Ibitoru said she was in Lagos at the moment and would let me know when she gets back.
I followed up with my destiny and a week later, Ibi had finally answered me with “oya she’s around” , she called her to meet her up when I was with her, immediately she walked in I was dazed, my heart literally skipped a beat and it just kept on pumping. After the introduction, Ibi and Amanda went into the toilet and the first thing I told my friend was “I’m going to marry this girl”, we started dating soon after and its been one surprise after the other leading up to this moment and more.
