Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

What time should I arrive?

The wedding starts at 4pm.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by October 6th.

What are the entree options?

We'll be serving a fish entree and a vegetarian entree. The fish entree is oven roasted salmon with miso glaze sauce, Wanton garnish, forbidden rice, and vegetables. The vegetarian entree is a roasted butternut squash boat with quinoa and seasonal vegetables.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes.

Where should I park?

There's plentiful free parking at the hotel.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We've hired an amazing team to capture the wedding ceremony for you, so please sit back, relax, and put your phone away for an unplugged experience.

If I’ve never been to a Jewish wedding before, what should I expect?

Traditionally men wear a kippah (head covering) during the ceremony, so please take one from the table and bring it home with you as a memento from our day. You can follow along with the ceremony on our program. Remember to say "Mazel tov!" after the glass is smashed!

What should I do in the Hudson Valley?

We recommend signing up for Historic Hudson Valley's newsletter to make sure you know when tickets go on sale for special fall events:

Do you want to hike?:

Please let us know what you'd be interested in doing in the area and we'd be happy to give you ideas.
